I like the way it looks ant that there is a lot of settings you can adjust to get a clearer idea of what you’re looking forDistortion
Having the EQ cause distortion in the very first lesson is really bad. Applying 12db of gain to a specific frequency is going to do that if you don’t compensate by lowering the overall gain by 12db. Really really poor oversight on the developers part. It makes it a lot harder to guess what changed if the EQ is so severely boosted it distorts.Show lessDeveloper Response
Thank you for your feedback. We’re sorry to hear about your experience. Have you tried adjusting the overall volume? For optimal ear training experience, we also recommend using high quality headphones rather than phone speakers as in-built phone speakers response to EQ boost to certain frequencies poorly and may produce distortions. Could you please try these adjustments and see if it resolves the distortion you’re experiencing? If the problem still persists, please feel free to let us know which iOS device, iOS version and headphones are you using so we can try to replicate the problem. We value your input and are here to help with any further questions or concerns.Enjoying and learning
Love the premise behind this app. The only thing that I would love to see is for this app to incorporate the ability to listen to any music (whatever streaming platform the user listens to) and do the testing with that. I feel that would be a great addition. To the app. Thank you.Developer Response
Thank you so much for your review and for sharing such a fantastic idea! Currently, iOS does not support apps making system-wide EQ adjustments. However, we definitely see the value in your suggestion and will keep it on our radar. Should iOS introduce this capability in the future, we’ll be eager to explore implementing this feature to enhance the training experience further. Thanks again for your support and for contributing your ideas to improve our app! Have fun EQ training :)
