  • App delivers ads via notifications

    The speaker works pretty well, however, the app keeps delivering advertisements via push notifications for new products with no way to disable them in the app. I disabled all notifications from within the app and they are still sending advertising notifications, so I had to turn them off at a system level. Super invasive and annoying!

  • Everything works as expected

    Pretty simple app, does everything it needs to and nothing more. No complaints.
  • OK, but buggy.

    Seems like a simple app, but it creates duplicates of a single device, and if you delete the duplicate, it deletes both instances. Also creates “unnamed eq” presets in the custom eq menu, and if you delete it, it’s still there. Or, it deletes but is replaced by another one a number higher. Annoying. But, the adjustable eq is useful for making the thing sound nice. The stock presets are all pretty bright.

    Ok I fell in love with sound from xboom then the over the head xfree go for movies, and now the Tribit FlyBuds C1 which sound amazing on all music apps. When I found out about app for updates and controls I was like a fat kid hearing there’s cake I downloaded it and well very excited now enjoying great sound. Need to open up for the older models like Maxsound plus gen1 or Xboom gen1.

  • Good multifunction app for certain Tribit speakers

    The Tribit app allows easy firmware upgrades, create custom EQs that stay with the speaker after shutdown and you don’t need the Tribit app open for the EQ either once it’s set and also EQ led colo assignment.

  • App won’t even initialize

    I bought a StormBox Micro 2 because it’s a small unit that allows EQ adjustment (supposedly). I like to listen to audiobooks in the shower, but most of the small Bluetooth units have their base cranked way up, which is the opposite of what I want for my use case. Anyway, I unboxed the unit and installed this app, but can’t get past the app’s spinny wheel/setup screen. I’ve reinstalled the app multiple times, performed soft reboots, my iPhone 13 Pro is up to date, etc. useless.

  • Barely functional

    The app doesn’t let you do much. EQ is amazing but you have to be connected via the app via Bluetooth for it to stay set. Meaning it’s only good for your phone. And even then, it sometimes stops. There’s no light customization features. Almost better without the app

  • Character mode this is a lousy app

    Hi I am blind and I am having an awful time using your app I can't give you much more information than I'm having trouble signing into my account I'm trying to sign into the Apple account and it will not let me sign in I also have to guess at certain times what Control or button I am on please make your app more accessible for blind people it would help us an awful lot when you consider that a lot of people buy these speakers who are blind once again thank you very much for listening to my opinion

  • App prevents earbuds from working

    My earbuds randomly unpaired from my phone and would not reconnect. Bluetooth in the iOS settings said they were connected but they were not. The reconnect instructions in the app just led to the same situation. Deleting the app solved the problem and allowed the earbuds to pair properly again. Can’t adjust settings anymore but at least the product itself works now.

  • Not good

    The button features are glitchy.
    Are not sound canceling. it seems they want you to use a back ground noise all the time. This make them seem sound canceling.
    Even when your not laying back ground you still hear a static sound
    Would not purchase these
    How did they make a top best list I don’t know
