  • Pretty Terrible App

    I’ve had MoveBuds for abut week. After initial set up with the App (which is necessary for fine tuning settings on the device) I haven’t been able to connect ever again. I even dumped and then reloaded the app to my iPhone 13Mini (everything on my end is updated by the way) to see if that would make a difference. The most frustrating aspect of this is that I can’t troubleshoot aspects of settings on the MoveBuds that I can’t get to work - namely, announce calls/messages and resetting push button gestures…Got these to replace my Powerbeats Pro which unfortunately crapped out on me after only one year! These MoveBuds are so far proving to be unimpressive.

    This app allows you to play with the Tribit’s lights. There are 5 pre-programmed EQ settings, with only one that sounds great, to me. That’s the “xbass” setting. The rest add little to the music, imho. It is a bit rough and could use a little work. Still, it’s better than nothing.

    I have stormbox blast and 2 stormbox micro 2s. App works fine on both. I wish there were more granular eq settings. Also wish more lighting options on blast as well as the ability to turn lights off when changing volume. Even when all lights are off the lights on the ends still come up when volume is changed.

  • EQ settings need work

    This app would be much more useful if it were easier to know what setting is in effect when you start the app or when you start the speaker. There should also be more bands of EQ. If the custom EQ in effect were shown on the main EQ pre set screen that would be better as well. Please provide a way to go back to the original EQ state of the speaker without resetting the entire speaker.

  • Still supporting?

    Just purchased Movebuds H1. I can connect them to my phone, but not the app. I had to install TribitLinkTool, but that won’t connect. The link tool app looks very unfinished, completely not functional.
    Clicking app support here takes me to a broken link.
    I’ll likely return them. A shame because they seem pretty good, but there is better support out there with other products.

  • Hardware is better than software

    Issues connecting to the headphone. Very poorly designed app. Headphones are great.

    Update on May 23, 2023.
    Was told to update the app and reconnect. Still had issues connecting the app to the headphone. The headphone is connected to the phone and works perfectly, it is the app that still has issues connecting.

  • Downloaded and deleted - makes you log in

    Why do I need to create and account and login just to pair a speaker that I already bought from them??? I’m not using apps like these ever for these basic functions. It’s a shame because I wanted to check out their equalizer. Using a Bluetooth speaker shouldn’t be linked to an account and require a log in. Annoying and not doing it. Developers please fix this if you want proper usage.

    I have 2 Bose speakers and have had several others from different brands - none required a login.
