The medical privders are very nice and know what their talking about, and the counselors are also very nice and thoughtful, helpful. Bringing unprofessionalism and toxicity to an app!
A terrible experience. The ‘counseling’ team is recently ex addicts. They pair men and women into support groups with angry men and women with bastard kids together. There is no moderator for the support groups so you can say anything you want. All the links they sent me for a psychiatrist or a real professional are all links anyone can get by calling your local suicide hot line. They said they could help with a job and housing, but it was just links to overburdened companies that can’t help. Communication is bad
Honestly, I love the idea of the app. The setup is nice but the communication is terrible. I was unable to attend my meetings for 2 weeks due to having an unexpected busy schedule. I tried to inform them and I couldn’t get in touch with anyone. Different people would respond days later. When I would respond, i wouldn’t hear back from them. They took me off the schedule. I called the enrollment number and finally got in touch with someone and she transferred me to the person in charge of handling my schedule. I told her the issue I was having and she agreed that the communication needs improvement. She was able to put me back in the schedule for next week. I got another message from someone else saying I need to get in contact with them since I missed my meetings, which I did! Then they proceed to take me off the schedule, AGAIN, they removed me from the programs and I lost the earnings i had build up.Show lessDxC92
Affect is awesome!!
I’ve been with Affect for 94 days exactly today!!! I am thankful for this teams support on my recovery journey! I love my counselor and my peers in group therapy as well! Best app ever
I’m lost for word right now! This app is the best. I’m currently an alcoholic. I woke up feeling like I need to change my life I was depressed all the time and I found this app on google I downloaded it and had my first orientation this morning. I start my groups this Friday. Affect has shown me that there’s more to life than feeling trapped with an addiction and feeling pressured on a daily basis to get clean. There are not here to pressure you or make you feel even more trapped than you already have do everything in their power to help you succeed, and lift you up and help you stand on your own and feel empowered! If it weren’t for the universe bringing Affect to my attention, I would still be stuck in the state I was in beforehand. I love this app
Whether your looking for outside support for your addiction and recovery or you just need a little extra cash in your pocket this app is brilliant and very effective. They pay you to take drug tests, even if you can’t pass them you still get paid, they pay you to do daily missions and challenges, you get paid to go to group therapy twice a week, paid to do your doctors visit every month, you do a 1:1 session with your counselor and other little tasks pay you as you go. You can cash out to your cash app at anytime no matter how much you have and it’s in your account within 1 business day. If we get paid to stay sober and do the right things the more likely you are to make them a habit and continue staying sober. I recommend this app to everyone regardless of what your motives are when you sign up. They turn people away that want and need help because of certain situations how do they expect people to get better get through things this made me happy and made me positive.
