The size is perfect for a little wrist - trendy yet mature! The step counter and the ability to message and call me have been a game-changer.
As a parent, I love the feature that allows me to disable it during school hours, making it a perfect balance between fun and responsibility. Being able to easily contact him and monitor calls and texts gives me peace of mind.
It was such an easy setup and has so many useful features that a older child will find useful!

THE BEST SMARTWATCH FOR KIDS!
We recently got the KidsOClock smartwatch for our 7-year-old, and it's been an absolute hit! The design is kid-friendly yet stylish. Our son loves the interactive features, especially the step counter!

Great watch for young children
We are absolutely loving our watch! We bought it for our 6yr old who is ASD and we love the peace of mind knowing that we can check him anywhere any time and make sure he hasn’t wandered off :) we love being able to let him have the freedom of use of his watch at appropriate times but also able to lock it when necessary 💙 he loves being able to get in contact with everyone that we allow. But we also love that fact nobody can contact him unless we allow it which is an amazing safety feature! It’s a great size and not too bulky even on smaller wrists. Perfect watch for kids !
I recently purchased the new model of watch for my son, He already had the older model which was great & we were very happy with it, so when it became time to replace his watch we decided to buy from kids O'clock again.
Great watch for kids with many easy-to-use functions, gives me the piece of mind to know he call me in an emergency, in addition to the GPS tracking & online security that you don't get with some other brands, love the fact you can put the watch in silent in class mode as well as add a 'Fence" all controlled from my mobile.Show lessAMK#$

Locational Independence
Dear Kidsoclock! I searched for weeks for a watch for MR 9. A friend recommended Kidsoclock. It was easy to set up and has worked like a dream. We can message, call and I can see where he is anytime. Great watch
I bought the GL30 for my son’s 7th birthday. After researching a number of children’s smart watch options, KidsOClock looked the best option.

Notifications need work
Update: have recently returned and refunded the GL30. Between the times when the watch would just consistently call the emergency number (meaning I needed to remove the SIM from the watch) to times when the gone could not be located despite being able to call through to having no effective control over the app notifications and being spammed with notifications, I feel that the watch and app had potential but the developers/ manufacturers chose to stop developing the product and thought it was “good enough”.
It wasn’t for me though.
Would love the ability to choose what notifications to get. Seeing my child leave a fence - definitely. Seeing health data or steps targets? Not so much. Also how is it I can call my child’s device but none of the services through the app (location, health) can reach his device?Show lessPsyckle
GL30 for a six year old
What I love. Physical attributes - it looks great, isn’t too big, the watch band is very flexible and soft, the watch feels light, high quality and well made. Tech support - the app is free to use and pretty good, the support team are Australian based and support is fast and I can operate the watch via the app on my phone. Favorite features - class mode (amazing!), sos phone call (this is reassuring), gps monitoring (the whole reason we bought it), geo fence (nice), call and message log in the app and restrict who can call/message or be called/messaged.
What needs work. It takes a while to update location and the geo fence notification is laggy. It would be amazing if the gps location was live. The step counter seems to count by the week rather than the day, it’s probably user error, but it isn’t straightforward. The box should come with a screen protector as standard.
In summary, I’m really happy with the GL30 and my son loves it too. I would and have recommended it to my other parent friends.Show lessYou choose a nickname!
