Locational Independence
Dear Kidsoclock! I searched for weeks for a watch for MR 9. A friend recommended Kidsoclock. It was easy to set up and has worked like a dream. We can message, call and I can see where he is anytime. My fear of his growing independence has now subsided. Thank u so much for ur great invention.
Great watch
I bought the GL30 for my son’s 7th birthday. After researching a number of children’s smart watch options, KidsOClock looked the best option.

Notifications need work
Update: have recently returned and refunded the GL30. Between the times when the watch would just consistently call the emergency number (meaning I needed to remove the SIM from the watch) to times when the gone could not be located despite being able to call through to having no effective control over the app notifications and being spammed with notifications, I feel that the watch and app had potential but the developers/ manufacturers chose to stop developing the product and thought it was “good enough”.
It wasn’t for me though.
Would love the ability to choose what notifications to get. Seeing my child leave a fence - definitely. Seeing health data or steps targets? Not so much. Also how is it I can call my child’s device but none of the services through the app (location, health) can reach his device?

GL30 for a six year old
What I love. Physical attributes - it looks great, isn’t too big, the watch band is very flexible and soft, the watch feels light, high quality and well made. Tech support - the app is free to use and pretty good, the support team are Australian based and support is fast and I can operate the watch via the app on my phone. Favorite features - class mode (amazing!), sos phone call (this is reassuring), gps monitoring (the whole reason we bought it), geo fence (nice), call and message log in the app and restrict who can call/message or be called/messaged.
What needs work. It takes a while to update location and the geo fence notification is laggy. It would be amazing if the gps location was live. The step counter seems to count by the week rather than the day, it’s probably user error, but it isn’t straightforward. The box should come with a screen protector as standard.
In summary, I’m really happy with the GL30 and my son loves it too. I would and have recommended it to my other parent friends.

Fantastic watch!!
We love the KidsOClock watch! Our 8year old son is now contactable when he rides to school or a friends place. It’s really easy to set up, clear calls, great parent app to track where he is live, and love the parent control to immobilise the watch in school hours.

Happy Mum
Bought this watch for my son to help him achieve a little independence safely. My son loves to wear it, and change the faces, play the games and send me emojis. I love that I can approve numbers, disable it during class time, and set up a safe perimeter. It was super easy to set up and is good quality for the price. Very happy.

Happy with the product
I ordered 2 of these watches for my primary school age children. The watches are a great way to keep in contact with them in a safe way. The customer service support is helpful and shipping was quick. The ‘disable in class mode’ is wonderful as I know they will not be distracted in class time!

We love this product it’s easy to use and gives us peace of mind when our 8 year old son outside riding his bike etc. location tracking works well and the watch works with a NZ SIM card.

We bought this watch for our 9 year old son who has been wanting a bit more independance with riding around the block and going to friends houses. Him wearing this watch gives me so much more peace of mind now with the gps tracking and him being able to contact me if needed. I love that its basic but has all the bits like gps, voice message and he especially loves counting his steps!
