No customer support
I love so many things about this game. Characters are well designed and offer a great deal of variety. As well as daily and weekly challenges there is always different events to keep things fresh. You have to play daily and spend a fair bit of money to compete with even the mid range teams. My biggest gripe is that there is absolutely no customer service if you raise a gameplay issue. This hugely lets down the overall gaming experience.

Cute
The game has cute animations and it’s nice to have characters that aren’t control or owned by Disney …yet. I had played the game before and came back, only to find all my progress is gone but the game still “knows” my profile. My not stay long this time having lost so much time and characters
Time gated
Very time gated for resources such as energy, gem from dailies, these are required to level up your heroes and take very long to acquire. The game does have freebies and can be F2P but overall your progression would be months or years slower than those that willing to pay.

FunPlus are not adding any new content except way overpowered heros every two weeks, to try and drag money out of people who need to pay money to summon them. I understand this is a business not a charity, but players have been begging for new contents for EVER, and they’ve added in one idiotic mini game that doesn’t even work properly lol. I’ve invested far too much money into this waste of time for far too long. No more. Sooooo many people are leaving and they don’t care, because they have other games they’re focusing on. It’s dead. Don’t waste your time or money.

Shame the developers have lost interest
I really really want to give this game 5 stars. I have played every day for nearly 18 months and have loved this game, but sadly, since the start of the year the game has fallen into a depressing pattern that is focussed on simply trying to get players to spend more and more.
A new 5 star hero is released every two weeks and the co-occurring events are nigh on impossible without said hero. The seasonal events are always the same and the new heroes get more and more powerful, making old heroes obsolete. All the new mechanisms that have been introduced are only of value to people who are willing to spend a lot of money. There hasn’t been any genuinely new playable content since last year. I know the new alliance war feature is coming, but it’s been promised for a long time and hasn’t materialised.
Please please continue to develop this game and add more proper levels to play. I have already cut back my spending on this game and if the game continues like this for much longer I don’t think I will be playing at all.

Interesting game appalling software support for bugs that make game a drag for some
I’ve been playing this game quite a while - interesting battles and generally quite fu. Yes, hugely P2W but that seems to be the trend, with more and more attempts to entice spend.
What has really annoyed me is that I seem to have found a bug which freezes the game regularly when I use a particular team after I got a 5* hero introduced after a recent patch - the result is I lose PvP battles occasionally, struggle to open up new areas as the longer the fight the higher the chance of freezing.
So I raise a ticket but it appears ALL customer support is automated, all I get is the usual reboot, reinstall messages - basically THEY DONT SEEM TO CARE ABOUT BUGS” - I suspect this is only affecting a few players, but I can’t just use a different set of heroes as I don’t own many options and don’t want to pay hundreds (maybe thousand) pounds to create another team as strong.
The moral is that they don’t care at all if you spend time and money and basically the game is functionally broken for you - I can’t undo the resources spent on the team that no longer works…
You may be lucky, but CAVEAT EMPTOR - you pay your money and there is no security that you are spending it on something that will work and you have no recourse.

Only if you can spend thousands$
Unfortunately, this game will only be fun if you can afford to spend thousands of dollars a month.
It is definitely rigged for those players who can Spend literally a $100 a week or more. Otherwise you will never move up or be able to compete and truly enjoy the game. Unless you spend the $100 at least every week, it is impossible to get any hero worthy to compete. Been playing for over 6 months and I’m finally giving up. There is no motivation to keep playing since I keep getting the same week heros, which cannot compete with others who spend thousands. You also cannot move up in any campaigns without stronger heros. I have watched so many people just drop out and I have seen how some have spent literally thousands of dollars. It’s insane. This company must be making millions. Their customer service is terrible, in fact I don’t think they even exist. They never respond to any issue. It’s a joke. Chances are I will be deleting soon, because although it was enjoyable and addicting it’s not anymore. There is also a person who tears apart teams to steal the best players for his team. Definitely a game only for people who can and are willing to Spend $1,000 of dollars.

Subpar game, HORRIBLE developer!!
Ok gameplay and graphics, very typical match 3 game with heroes that you level up. Horrible developer though. Constant bugs and sneaky updates that take things away and replace them with stuff you have to pay for. Extremely unfriendly for Free 2 Play players. This game is designed to make you spend… period… it is 1000% Pay 2 Win! Horrible odds on getting things you want even when you do spend. There is also ZERO game balance. Every new hero/feature that comes out is ridiculously overpowered and makes all old heroes and content obsolete. So if you aren’t spending to have the latest and greatest heroes/content… be prepared to lose… a lot. Developers have no clue how to design a game properly and maintain it with balanced updates. They don’t listen to the community either regarding badly needed core game updates and quality of life improvements. They care about getting your money, nothing else! Don’t even bother trying to contact support for anything. It’s non-existent. Overall, best to simply avoid this game. If you start playing, I guarantee you will end up regretting it in the long run.

Great game except for recent update
Since the most recent update the gems I’m winning and collecting aren’t being applied to my account. This wouldn’t be as bad as it is if it wasn’t for some of these gems being paid for from the gem pass and the premium event pass. Customer service don’t seem to be replying and you can only submit one query and need to wait for that to be resolved first - so am now losing numerous gems. A shame as the game before that was great

Typical Greed Ruins another Game
They are starting to become very PTW oriented. Every ‘event’ is practically pointless in terms of how far you can progress without paying any money. The heroes you summon are predominantly useless except a VERY rare few that are marked as necessary to progress .. the game is visually appealing and has a great helpful community.. they do respond to feedback and make regular updates and changes. However the greed is becoming a real problem and the game becomes UNPLAYABLE and pointless unless you’re spending a lot each month - which is what always happens with these games in the end.
