  • Hidden costs

    I unfortunately have to agree with the sentiments expressed here in other reviews. I decided to try the app out and booked a ride with a great 50% discount. It took a little longer than Uber/Lyft but at that price I didn’t mind. It was advertised as $8 but I paid nearly $14 in the end. Still a good price for the journey and competitive, but they could benefit from making their pricing more transparent beforehand. I like the concept of paying drivers their fair share so I hope HOVR emerges as a viable competitor in the rideshare market but for now I’ll stick to the more established apps, especially since the toll/heavy traffic fees will add up and make it very expensive in busy cities such as Toronto.

  • Good potential, flawed app

    I like the underlying idea, and tried to set up the app. But the process for saving addresses is badly designed. It sometimes adds extra characters, and insists on multiple entry of house number. Plus it requires the user to fill in a ‘landmark’ field - even when none is relevant. Fix these annoying flaws and I might give it a try….

  • Great Experience with HOVR!

    I had a great experience using the HOVR app! It’s easy to navigate, and the rides are quick and affordable. The interface is clean, and booking a ride is simple and hassle-free. I love how convenient it is to get around the city with HOVR. Although, I would like the wait times to be a bit quicker. Overall, Highly recommend!

  • Cheap Rides

    I’ve found it a lot more convenient and less expensive to take a ride downtown instead of driving.
  • Worst experience

    I would suggest everyone not to use this App. They first charge low price and after the trip they take charge another amount without any notice or request. I was charged twice for a single trip and when I contacted their customer support there was no response from their end.
    Also when I booked a ride there was no information or the contact of the driver. There was no option of how to know the status of your ride, no car number was provided.
    Used it for the first and last time. I would strongly suggest everyone not to use this app, uber is far more reliable.

The final charge reflects the balance of your trip if it exceeded $20. Any price discrepancies can occur due to toll routes, heavy congestion, or traffic incidents, which may increase the fare.   • Driver oriented

    This app is for drivers to earn good money but for customers is expensive than other competitors i booked the ride showing 27$ and in the end they charged 41$ so much hidden charges

  • Estimated Price Concern

    Downloaded the app today and here is what I saw that makes me not want to use it…for now

    When I type my destination, it appears to give me an estimated price. From what I have heard in the group, they get charged different amounts after.

    The other issue is that Lyft is still a lower cost and they give me the full cost breakdown.

    I will check on the app in the future but will continue using other methods

  • 7$ more for dame trip than Lyft

    Thought it would be cheaper a 17$ ride is 24 uninstalled

    Less drivers, costs more, idk how much they even pay drivers

  • No answer from customer service

    Had a scheduled ride cancelled, no voucher. Took a ride advertised as $16, charged $18.
