New UK member

I have been looking for ages for a group and programme that can support a desire to increase CV fitness and strength with the purpose of being more physically and mentally robust for the outdoors (I appreciate that the UK is not comparable to much of the US), the faith-based nature of MTN TOUGH is a big plus and currently loving the on-ramp series as I build towards a mountain endurance event.
Podcasts are also pretty good.

Variety, challenging, engaging, constant updates

I’ve been an athlete my whole life. I’ve done CrossFit, functional workouts, 20+ years of ultra running, Ironmans, backpacking in wild places, etc.. all that to say, I constantly am on the look for something that provides a meaningful balance to my endurance-driven athleticism. MTNTOUGH is one of the first programs I’ve found that truly challenges all parts of my body. It’s December 24th today, I started with MTN Tough in May doing MGDs for 4 months before moving into KB20 and then Sandbag 20. I love the versatility and I’ve seen the results. I’ve never been a physically strong person. I can run 100 miles, but I couldn’t lift 50 pounds over my head and carry it. That’s changed. And it’s made my whole body stronger. As a full on endurance junkie, I’ve found a meaningful and challenging way to build strength throughout my body. And in a way that positively impacts my time in the mountains. Whether you’re a hunter (as this was originally built for) or somebody like me, this is an incredible way to build meaningful strength to get into the mountains.

Life changing

I have been using MTNTOUGH for a year and a half now. Great workout that have me always ready for any challenge.

Not just for hunters

This program has brought me to the next level. I always tried to incorporate strength and endurance into my workouts and this program does just that, but in a much more thought out way. The workouts flow great and there is much more variety then I would have ever come up with on my own. It’s not just for hunters if you are someone looking for an extremely well round workout program this is worth checking out.

The life changing work out app.

After struggling to start consistent when it come to training after finishing up with team sports in my twenty’s. I found mountain tough and it has been the #1 and only system that I have been able to start committed to now for over two years. It feels like you are apart of something bigger than training and that is what I love about it knowing thousands of others are out there working to become there best version of themselves. It’s changed my life and I’m sure changed many more.

Effective & scalable workouts

I’m 50 yrs old, former Paratrooper & Police Officer. I was looking for a good, beginner, body weight program to rehab following surgery for a herniated disc. I started with the body weight on ramp program, completing it 3 times through before progressing to the body weight foundation program. I’m totally hooked.
Both programs have improved my leg, core and posterior chain strength which is exactly what I needed.
I’m intending to stick with MTNTOUGH and continue my progression through your other programs. Can’t thank you enough.

Get on board

There may actually be too much information on the site for some ;for those willing to put in the time to find what they want this is a library of workouts. Wether starting back up from zero or jumping in as an elite athlete. It has definitely helped me get back on track and improve my overall fitness for my construction work. As an owner operator at 52 years old I needed to get muscle back on my frame to save my joints and connective tissues. I recommended this to everyone I talk to about getting in shape. Give it a try, you only get the one body and quality of life in the golden years is predicated on being fit enough to enjoy them. I’ll let you know how my hunt goes. I live at 9000 ft elevation in a camper I found the coached no equinox routines doable in my space during winter, have moved on to the gym foundation, and will continue the work. Thanks MTN Tough Crew!
