  • Love the app

    I’ve always have lifted heavy and as I’ve gotten older I have definitely felt it in my joints, you also feel like you just going through the motions to just get a workout in. The workouts that Im currently following definitely hit my body differently. I feel sore but in a good way the mobility videos definitely help in recovery for the next workout. Overall I look forward to the next day to hit my body completely different from the day before. It’s a great designed workout plan that always keeps your body guessing. Can’t wait to keep seeing the transformation of my body moving forward, to help concur the mountain next fall!
  • Got me the Billy of a lifetime @ 13 months postpartum

    After drawing a once in a lifetime mtn goat tag at 6 months postpartum. I knew I had to get back into mountain shape. I had previously been a trail runner but never really into strength training as part of my training. MTNTOUGH was a game changer, it not only got me back into mountain shape but stronger than I was before pregnancy. I was back in the game and able to take on a 5 day mtn goat hunt. After putting on 60+ miles, I was able to seal the deal on the Billy of my dreams on the last day of the hunt that I had been scouting all summer. I’m still doing mtntough and love every workout. You guys are awesome. Buy Mtntough. You won’t regret it!
  • A kick in the pants…

    While no one wants to be kicked in the pants, it is sometimes needed to get moving. This past fall, after harvesting a beautiful bull elk in Colorado, I realized that my fitness was not at the level required to sustain our three trips to haul out my elk to the truck. This was the first kick in the pants. This brought to my attention that my current at-home fitness plan, that included taking walks with a heavy pack, was not sufficient to truly be in mountain shape. I decided to try MTNTOUGH based on a Live Wild Podcast recommendation and here are my thoughts. Enter the second kick in the pants… “Feel the burn!” She said. “Take your mind off the pain” he said. I definitely work out harder and rest less with Sarah and Jimmy and Dustin in my ear than I do under my own motivation. I work out in the early AM before the family is awake, so being able to use my phone and earbuds is key to keeping a low sound profile as I try to silently grunt and sweat my way into Mountain Shape. I love the style of workout, I love the simplicity of the App, I love the different levels and personalization that are offered… can’t say enough good things. I’ve already convinced three friends to get their own accounts and start getting in even better shape than they already are. Well done on the execution of this business and product and App… it is very very good. I’ve been working out 5 days a week for 9 weeks and starting to really feel and maybe even see the results.
  • Incredible App for Fitness

    I suffered a pretty serious injury in the military. I pretty much hadn’t worked out seriously for a couple years. Had surgery and then COVID started. Couldn’t complete my PT recovery and tried a lot of different apps and programs. Nothing worked. I was either not able to do the workouts or my form was bad and ended up hurting something and couldn’t train for weeks. I saw MTNTOUGH advertised on my Instagram feed and downloaded it to give it a try. I’m now hooked. I use the app almost every day for my workouts. The coaching is incredible. I love that the focus is on good clean reps and maintaining form. The instructions are clear and I really loved how they scale the workouts depending on your ability. My kids are often with me watching and following along as well. When I travel it’s extremely helpful to be able to do the workouts no matter where I am. This is a great app and everyone should be using it!
  • So much more than a fitness app!

    The workouts are awesome! Great quality, easy to follow along with and adjust based on your physical capabilities, time availability, or equipment you have. That’s just the surface though. Jump into the performance section and expand your capabilities in mental toughness, soulfulness, nutrition, motility, physical therapy! So much to learn and explore. If you’re truly looking to improve your life, this is where you belong. The community groups both in the app and on the social pages are the most supportive groups I’ve ever been a part of. The crews behind these programs are truly inspiring. They provide tools that are simple and easy to use in all of their programs.

    I’ve been using the minimal gear daily workouts and they are the perfect amount of challenge in the perfect amount of time. Not too short and not too long and they scale really well depending on your abilities. I was able to jump in and grow with it from zero and I have a friend who is an ex Army Ranger who I told about it and he loves it and is challenged by it, so it really is for everyone. We live on ranches, so we aren’t able to make it to the gym and this has been the perfect solution. I just wake up, and go. Don’t have to plan my workouts and worry about if I’m making it challenging enough, working the right muscles etc, the app does it all for me! Thanks MtnTough! We’re loving it!
  • Fitness plans that actually work

    I’ve done the 45-70 during fire season and pre-season hunting program before fire season and they are both amazing INCREDIBLY effective training plans. Got me/ kept me in awesome shape. Also the food plan and stretching plans are amazing resources, as well as the minimal gear daily workouts if you don’t have time for the gym. I’m now retired from fire, but still do the programs for hunting and overall fitness. The app is very intuitive and easy to use, and full of awesome resources. I feel like doing mtn tough the past few years has also just kept me in great shape for ski season. Thank you so much for everything mtn tough!
  • Excellent Programing/Workout App

    Over the past couple years I have tried many workout apps and there has been no comparison. MTNTOUGH far exceeds the competition. The variety of programs based off the user’s experience level and equiptment is insane. With other apps I have found myself getting bored and looking for the next program. I haven’t wavered once with MTNTOUGH. I’m almost through the Backcountry Hunter Post Season Strength program and I’m excited to begin the Spring Training camp. I’m in the best shape I have been in since OSUT. The Minimal Gear Dailies are a life saver when I am traveling and don’t have access to a full gym. The on ramp programs are awesome (currently peer pressuring my parents to prioritize their longevity with these programs.) Keep up the great work! 10/10

    I just renewed this for the second year! Fantastic programs and I appreciate the constant addition of new material. The ease of use within the app is flawless. I know this isn’t app specific, but The entire program is phenomenal. Truly a great combo of mind, body, and recovery which is really unique.
    The ability to easily jump around to different sections is great. Go from 45-70 to monthly challenge, to a PT workout, all within a couple of clicks.
    A suggestion would be to consider some sort of workout tracking within the app. I do track all of this either on paper or within my Garmin Connect, but there are times where it would be nice to have previous times, weights used, etc all within the app itself instead of having to go through Garmin connect to find this info. Not a huge issue, however I do think it could take this to the next level. Thanks to the MTNTOUGH team for all you do.

    This app/program is solid. Very easy to use, and track your progress, with options for everyone from the complete gym rat to the at home gym and no gear beginner. Started with a 2 week trial, purchased a full year (best deal) and am on my way! I had two brutal pack outs last season, and something had to change. This is my answer. I am fully confident that this workout program, with the fully guided workout videos and tons of challenges and additional videos/blogs will make all the difference in the coming season. Buy the app, it’s worth every penny, and when you are successful on the mountain, staring down a brutal slog back to the truck, you will thank MTNTOUGH for getting you prepared. Good luck out there! 10 stars.
