Not sure how it works
I can’t get my app to move past the main few screens. I can’t allow the Apple health and I can’t get access to the app at all. I’ve deleted and then installed again. Same thing. I also don’t get a place to set up an account or anything. It flashes on the screen and then on to the scroll pass stuff.Jenn122
Tracking is off and not useful
I recently got two bottles. The bottle itself is nice but this app is terrible. Since the update, my history is wrong. It is as if it no longer resets everyday if it registers any amount of liquid. Just useless and a shame because if the app worked, the product would be nice.M11721
App needs a lot of work
I had high hopes with the new bottle, but the app is absolutely terrible. Only has time based reminders to your phone, rather than paced based to your bottle and phone. The interface is terrible. Bottle only connects when you open the app and data is often inaccurate despite multiple calibrations. A lot to be desired. Will probably just go back to my spark.Show lessdoublebob31
Meh
There is nowhere to write a review on the actual water bottle online so I’m including it here as well as the app. I like that the bottle/app tracks my fluid intake but that’s about the only good thing. There are also limitations even to this one good quality. If you fill up your water bottle, you can’t drink out of it until you put it down (so it can weigh itself) or you won’t get credit for what you drink. I don’t think the TDS scanner works, it always says “excellent” even when i literally poured dissolvable powder into it and also when it was full of soapy water. The app is meh. Doesn’t integrate with Apple health. The format is clunky. It doesn’t update unless/until you open it and reconnect the water bottle. It’s set to give me water reminders every 30 minutes but it has never given me a reminder (the bottle or the app). I do like being able to easily track what I drink in terms of ounces but it does not do everything it advertises. App is clearly under developed
The main screen of the app is pointless. White text on a white background… and the bottle doesn’t stay connected and tracking is not accurate. No Apple health integration. Data visitation is sloppy.Jake21S1990
Apple Health Support
I’m not sure why this product does not have Apple health support. It’s essential and frankly should be a no brainer when selling a smart water bottle. Bottles are great but a big feature that’s lacking.Psips2454
Please Invest More
Your physical water bottle is of great quality Jo doubt. But the app stinks. There’s hardly no investment into it. The app renders this bottle useless in terms of functionality of what you set out for it to do. Now it’s just a normal water bottle I could’ve purchase at the store for much less. Well designed, but…
Just got my WaterH water bottle in the mail after waiting what seemed like forever since finding on Kickstarter. The water bottle is so well designed and seems to be much more advanced than the Hidrate bottles I have. Like the bottle, this app is well designed but it leaves a lot to be desired namely one glaring omission. WHERE IS THE APPLE HEALTH SUPPORT?!? It has come to be expected that with a smart water bottle the app it syncs to will also read and write to Apple Health so everything is always in sync. This rather large omission makes this app and the water bottle almost unusable. As soon as Apple Health support is added this will be one of the better water tracking apps and definitely one of the best smart water bottles.Show lessjc9413
