  • Poor app.

  • Why did you change the Format?.

    I am not able to see very well, so it was much easier for me to browse the latest news when the items were larger, and next to each other!

  • New app frustrating

    I have found the new app annoying. It is more difficult to scroll through the paper and annoying to have to enlarge the print. Much prefer the older version

  • If it is not broken - Don’t try and fix it!

    The previous version was user friendly, but this version is not.

    The tabs at the bottom are ok, but I like to mostly read the paper, which is now difficult to navigate.

    The font is small, and when tapped to enlarge, not much better. One page at a time is good enough, but two pages are too small on the screen.

    The one thing I like is the multi page view where you can scroll through the pages instead of the drop down where only the numbered pages was shown.

    We all like and accept change, but this is not a change for improvement.

    I will be surprised to hear a high level of praise, because I am aware the senior members of our community are the people who actually read the paper, with the rest happy to read the updates during the day.

    As I said, if it is not broken, don’t try and fix it.

  • Not able to download

    Unable to download paper, page freezes, have renewed the app, doesn’t help. Happens intermittently, but now 3 days in a row

  • Trapdoor Subscriptions

    Online setup and phone only cancellation. Decent paper but embarrassing they have to resort to such tactics
  • Unable to scroll down to read articles!

    Touchy swipe left/right swiping between stories, and unable to scroll down to actually read the story, unless you have time to wait for it to decide you can scroll down.
    Ads should be removed for paid subscribers.
    Not good.
  • Somehow worse than website

    Slow a molasses to load everything and the poor loaded and poor formatted stupid ads are still there.

    How about knocking off the ads for paid subscribers. Double dipping revenue doesn’t help put up with the poor site design
