  • Some improvements

There doesn’t seem to be an option to add a frequency for depot medication which would be helpful as a reminder for when my depot is next due. It would also be helpful to add something to help track mixed symptoms/episodes
  • A must for those living with bipolar

Hands down the best app for those living with this condition. Clean, clear and easy to use the mood tracker is exceptional and a must have.
  • Suggestion

I’m new to this and love the idea but am not finding it particularly user friendly.
I’m guessing I can rate my mood several times during the day but haven’t figured it out yet. It’s really important for me to be able to do this.
The other big thing is that the scales for mood and sleep are not matched- it would be really good if I could see the direct impact of poor sleep and mood. I know this, but would help to share with my carers and doctor.
Thank you for creating this :))

  • Good app but…

The app is good but doesn’t take mixed episodes into account which is frustrating bc when I’m feeling both hypomanic and depressed I’m lost at where to put my mood bc it’s both up and down, and there’s no way I can graphically track this. I’d love if this feature could be added as bipolar has been proven through studies to not be a simplistic up or down.

Hi Lauren, there has been some updates to the app which you might want to check out. The design does not work well with multiple mood states because they cannot be plotted on a graph. We suggest that the comments and emotions are used to help show these mixed states.
  • Optimistic

I like the independence of plotting my mood. Would like to know how to go back within a week and add details for a missing date (due to feeling utterly low on that day).

Hi, The new update should allow you to edit and update moods from the past. Please give it a go and the other new features that I have added.
  • Really useful

As somebody who is trying to get a bipolar diagnosis I am finding this really useful to build up a picture for mental health professionals to see. The graph is really useful.

Hi Scott, thanks for the comments. There is a new update that hopefully improves on the earlier version.
  • Has a lot of potential

The app has potential to be really good - the graph is going to be super helpful but I wish I could transfer my data from my existing mood diary (using the Bipolar UK mood scale) manually rather than importing a file so I could see it all on the graph already. Sometimes I miss days as well but can remember how I was thinking/feeling so I hope I can still fill in missed days if I carry on using this app

Hi, There is the ability in the recent update to insert and update older mood data. It will be time consuming if you have a lot. I intend to write some kind of exporter and importer which should help you out.
