  • Best game I have ever played

Uncle Dan I cannot thank you enough for making this game, it has so much excitement and joy to it and unlockable characters
  • Amazing adventure from start to finish!

Okay, I’ve finally beaten this game and unlocked all the heroes!

This game is definitely one of the best free iPhone games I’ve played. It is packed with surprises all the way through, with new heroes and enemies being introduced even near the end of the game. I was filled with a similar level of excitement as I felt while first playing some of my other favorite games (Legend of Zelda, Skylanders, etc.) I’d say the game’s greatest strength is the rich enemy variety.

I do have some critiques, however. Sometimes the game felt too hard simply because 6-7 really powerful enemies were packed into one battle, which made it really hard to beat the battle without spamming items. Also, some heroes felt a bit underpowered when unlocked so I wasn’t encouraged to use them at all.

Regardless, I had a blast and really enjoyed discovering all the secrets of the world. I won’t spoil anything, but the game’s ending was really hilarious when I first got to that point!

  • Good game

I like how I can move the open world and fight bad guys and I like how to spend gems on the characters.
  • Ftp premium title

Gameplay is better than solid, with nice graphics, writing, exploration, skills, etc. Yes there are ads…but they’re all shippable after 5 secs. Not sure why people whinge about that. Or pay $.99 to remove completely if you prefer—certainly a generous price for such a quality rpg. Back to playing…
  • Just ads no game

Opened the game, clicked start new game and it just shows me ads. Can’t even try the game.

    Developer Response

The ad will play, but you should be able to skip past it. Can you please let us know by email (battlehunters@phasetwogames.com) which ad(s) are preventing you from progressing into the game?
  • Upgraded version of the original with IAPs

The visual upgrades are nice, and so far the IAPs are not onerous. A .99 purchase removes all ads, which seems more than reasonable for a game that sells for $17 on the Switch.
  • Constant adds

If you like watching adds all the time this game is for you. Have to watch adds whenever going to a new area or pay to remove them. You can also pay for just about anything it seems. Ran smooth and looks good, but deleted after an hour due to adds.
