Lacking Apple TV app
Renewed my subscription to give it a try since it changed ownership. Movies aren’t any better than before. Nice that it has Bloody Disgusting TV streaming however, you can get that for free on the Roku Channel. Biggest issue for me is that there is no Apple TV app. I was hoping it would be coming sometime soon but, after a few months of waiting I’m beginning to wonder if that will actually happen. Kind of a letdown so far for the “new” Screambox. I will wait and see what improves before I renew. Update 11/1/22 So I am nearing the end of my annual subscription and won't be renewing. None of the issues plaguing this service have been resolved. Unbelievably, there is still no Apple TV app. They made it sound like you could just airplay from your phone however, you can't even do that. There is no button, only one to cast to some devices however it doesn't even recognize my "dumb" tv. I have the Roku app however that is an issue also. I rarely use the Roku unless traveling and this service limits the number of authorized devices. Then they limit how often you can change devices. A horribly managed service. I wanted to watch Terrifier 2 however, not going to watch on my iPad or iPhone and I can't airplay it. Very disappointed. I even tried contacting customer support and all they could tell me was to deauthorize a device to add a new one. Sounds like they really don't care. Even the old Screambox service was better than this new one. I'm not sure why Bloody Disgusting has made no effort to support their service. I had high expectations and they have failed to do anything with it. Avoid this unless they add an Apple TV app and stop limiting the number of authorized devices.Show lessBzx2967
Unable to watch on a TV
It is unbelievable to think that the service with the most-interesting horror movie in some time can’t be streamed on a big screen TV. No Screambox app on Apple TV or Google Play store is inexcusable. The casting option is painful to watch on a large screen. Such a waste of what could be an interesting service and give other horror services a run is left behind by its lack of innovation. If all you need it for is a phone or IPad then have at it. If you want it on your TV, stay away until they figure it out.Show lessSkeevo

The other guy does not understand what this service is for. this is a masterpiece of everything you want if you like schlocky campy low budget horror. give it a shot for that reason alone you will have so much fun watching this with a group of people that it’s worth the subscription for the night at least.Show lessgoated with the schlock
Completely Broken
I honestly can’t believe Apple allowed such a fundamentally broken app on the App Store. The app does nothing except let you sign up so it can take your money. Doesn’t play anything just has a blank screen with a few titles on it. Website is no different literally does nothing. Right now I can’t even reset my password because the page instantly reloads to the home page as soon as I click the link in my email. This is quite honestly completely unacceptable. Glitchy!!
I subscribed so that I could watch Terrifier 2 on Halloween since it was released on here today. It should’ve been released on Shudder because the app is so glitchy. It seemed to work fine at first but all I had to do was pause it and now even after closing and reopening the app it won’t load the movie.

Subbed but movies won’t load on any device WiFi or cellular
Got a sub to watch movies on Halloween today. Wanted to watch terrifier 2 and others tonight. After getting the sub which I thought was 5 a month found out I’m in a free trial. Tried to watch terrifier 2 to see how it looks on the streaming service loading wheel comes up then goes away tried another movie at random same thing won’t start it was called satans little helper tried another some corn movie same tv station thing works but that it. Can’t I watch the movie on the free trial can I pay the 5 and watch terrifier 2 and the others. Now I have to buy tickets to see terrifier 2 at the theater tonight because I have a feeling this won’t get resolved today. So far I’m not impressed it worked all of a sudden pit my ranting up to 5 of the movies go all the way through without dropping and the start I’ll keep the subscription going I love horror movies.Show lessinferno00000

Garbage. There is no excuse for an app whose single purpose is to stream video to not have an Apple TV app and airplay support. I’ll be cancelling before the trial period ends.gtrogue
