  • Amazing!

This app and the trainer is just what I’ve been needing. Pilates is so underrated. It’s more than a workout, it’s about whole body wellness. This app and the trainer allows me access to a new level of training with results I can feel and see. Great job, guys. I hope more people try this out.
  • Equipment good—App is the worst!

I was really excited about CoreFirst. The equipment is really functional, I like it a lot. HOWEVER, the app is ridiculously bad. The videos are worse. The video functionality candidly, is trash. If you imagine the seamlessness and functionality of videos like on the Peloton app for example, prepare to be frustratingly disappointed. Let me explain: 1. The videos lack any speed buttons. Meaning there is no way to FF, rewind, etc. 2. There are no levels to the videos. For example, beginning, intermediate, (1, 2, 3) etc. In their defense, videos are delineated fat loss, strength, etc. but within those categories are still “levels!” So you end up just pulling up a video and hoping you can do the workout. 3. To this next point, if you have trouble on the workout you just pulled up, there’s no simple way to find another you can do. Other than to sit and watch every single video at full length. BC back to #1 and 2–theres no way to FF! And no levels!! 4. Yoga category has no videos at all 5. Many of these workouts spend a lot of time on knees. What if you have bad knees?!?! The video becomes pointless. 6. Trainers are not created equal. Some of the trainers are ok. Some are just bad. And with low budget video quality, it’s deflating. 7. One trainer just used a derogatory term referring to her dad and “Indian burns” and how they hurt. What?!?!?? Seriously! Where is quality control. In all I can see so much value in the equipment. I received the app for free with my purchase. However, would I pay for the app after it expires? That is a HARD NO for me. Not unless something drastically improves.

  • Corefirst App

The actual product is great! The app not so much. It’s not that user friendly or efficient. You cannot rewind the workouts. Some of the videos don’t play right away so you can’t see the workouts but the time continues. The calorie counter seems to be off and not accurate. I use my apple watch for heart rate. They still need to workout a lot of the kinks and make it more efficient for users. I also use the peloton app which is great so that’s my comparison.

We are very happy to hear that you love the Corefirst product! We couldn't agree with you more that our app needed some work. That is why we recently had a major update to our app early August of this year. There is now all the features you would expect to come with playing a video, such as fast forward or rewind. Our new app also is much smoother and has little to no glitches when playing a workout. You can also cast to your smart TV, download a native tablet version, or play workouts on your computer. Peloton has done an amazing job with their platform and we are much closer now to the high standard we have for our customers as well. We would expect and hope that your opinion would be quite different now. Thank you for using Corefirst!
  • Volume

Sound keeps going in and out.
  • Great product terrible app

I love this workout system and am so glad I bought the straps HOWEVER this is probably the worst fitness app I’ve ever used the interface is terrible to just see a simple workout and the workouts themselves are so painfully boring I couldn't get thru any of them.

We are glad to hear you love the Corefirst and don't regret your Corefirst purchase. Since your review, we have done a complete app change and update, to make the interface a great and smooth experience. Not fully sure what workouts you may be referring to but it is most likely what is now called the "Exercise Library" in the updated app. It is at the very bottom of the app and is intended to be only a list of exercises for you to apply one or two on your own or to create your own workout, if you don't want to do the classes. You will find in the app that we now have hundreds of workouts for every fitness level. We hope that you give it another try. Thank you for using your Corefirst!
  • Some slight glitches

Wishing the workouts didn’t just abruptly end. I use the app on my iPad and it is dark making it difficult to see the screen and the class. This has only been my 2nd class so I am going to try to troubleshoot this. The classes are great and challenging 😊

Thank you for sharing! First off, we are so glad to hear you believe that the classes are great and challenging. We put a lot of thought and effort into every workout and program we come out with and have in the app. We recently had a major update to our app early August of this year to fix many issues, among the workouts being glitchy when playing. We hope you been able to now experience the much smoother and very non glitchy app. Thank you for using Corefirst!
  • No Rewind/Fast Forward

Just started using this, so I can’t comment on the content, but it’s really frustrating that you can’t rewind or fast forward on the videos.

We laugh and cry with you on your frustrations with the app. We recently had a major update to our app early August of this year because of our frustrations with its limitations as well. There is now all the features you would expect to come with playing a video, such as fast forward or rewind. You can also cast to your smart TV, download a native tablet version, or play workouts on your computer. We would expect and hope that your opinion now would be quite different. • Great start

These are well thought out workouts with plenty of variety however it really needs a native iPad app with full screen viewing.

    Developer Response

Thank you for your review. We really appreciate that you can see and feel all the thought that goes into our workouts, and we do focus on providing tons of variety. It takes our team about 4 months from idea to getting a program into the app for our customers to hopefully thoroughly enjoy. We had a major platform and app update in early August of this year and you will see the app's features and the overall experience is way better now. It also comes now with a native iPad app with full screen viewing. We hope that you have been able to experience this great experience by now. Thank you for using the Corefirst!
  • Hard to use!

No verbal instruction, no way to go back without restarting everything. So bad.
  • Isn’t worth the money

I was expecting a workout with a instructor more like a class. This is just someone modeling each move and then it repeating over and over. Not my idea of a fun workout app. Can we get classes where an instructor leads us through the series and makes it more fun and lively? Otherwise, once you learn tbe moves what is the point of the app? It makes not sense to me

Hello! Thank you for using the Corefirst App. We recently had a major update to our app early August of this year. 90% of our app is instructor led workouts making it fun and lively. It should feel more like you are in a class with all of those workouts. The section you are referring to is at the very bottom of the app, called "Exercise Library", and that is the only none led instructor section. This section is intended just for exercise ideas incase you want to do only a few exercises on your own or build your own workouts. I hope you have experienced those great instructor led workouts by now. Thank you for using Corefirst!
