It’s Okay but …

Don’t get me wrong, its good game but (spoiler warning) why stop after the MP shooting and force players to buy the game. I still need more time to decide if I want to buy the game

Response from developer

Hello WhyUbad, Thanks for commending the demo storyline. As described in our app description, our game app follows a free demo until a certain key story point and needs a full game IAP to experience the full game. This allows everyone to try the game like a demo and decide if they like it and buy the full game to support the development team at Torpor Games. It took our team 4 years to make Suzerain, and we wanted to make it accessible to everyone instead of making it fully premium and locking free users out. Hope you can understand our decision. Hope you enjoyed the demo nonetheless! Best Wishes, Torpor Games Team

Phenomenal world building, not so phenomenal play style

First of all this game is nothing short of amazing, dont let anyone tell you otherwise, even me. It has an insane amount of lore hidden in its codex thats mandatory if you want to know how this world turns and the characters seem consistent and well designed from what little I’ve played, however, if you struggle with reading or have dyslexia, this might be a problematic game for you, as it is a true text based game that contains paragraph after paragraph of story and lore, which makes this game less accessible to those with reading problems. I feel it’s in dire need of some form of voice acting, whether that be by AI or the mouths of professional voice actors i am not to worried about, it would just make the game more accessible to so many more people.

Keeps crashing

Will reevaluate rating once I can get past the intro.

Now on mobile platform’s!

I have played this games 44.4 hour in PC so this game is awesome. You are president and you can follow different ways like become a tyrant or democratic president. Also you can start a world war and you can support western faction or communist faction. But game has something to annoying like when you start another game for trying another ways you can’t be quick because game saved automatically and you need to read all of the conversation again and you can’t skip, they need to find a way to solve this. If this going to happen game will become more fun and replay-able.

The formula works!

I love Suzerain. It works 95% on mobile. I think 1-2 things didn’t covert over. To the Torpor Games team—you have the formula. Now replicate it. Pick a year, pick a country, let the player be the next Anton Rayne and rake in the cash. The DLC is begging for you!

One of the best games on Steam comes to mobile in it’s full glory

There aren’t much games on the App Store with the same quality and amount of content as this one. Must play if you are interested in political simulation.

Music without a Mute button - a hard no-go.

Any app that makes noise should have a way of muting itself. I shouldn’t have to turn off the sound on my whole device just to stop your app from making noise, doubly for a text adventure.

Plus, it’s a text adventure that doesn’t work with the screen-reader. I can go play Twine games instead, or just use WinFrotz on PC.

Fix those errors.

Game Crashes on two iPads

When the Presidency results are shown, and it starts to load to the main gameplay, it crashes back to my home screen. It happened on two different iPads….

Excited to see this on mobile

I was looking forward to trying this and finally it’s on mobile. It has great reviews on Steam, and plays great on mobile as well. Thanks for bringing this to iOS!

Huge Fan, Wish I Had Volume Options

I’m a huge fan of the game and played it on PC. So far, no bugs or complaints, except that I wish I could mute the background music and make other volume adjustments.
