Still suffering poor choice of EDP
Dear Rita of reviews it may not come as a surprise that previous negative views of EDPs installation of solar systems seem to disappear with regular. I truly regret. over €5000 for an installation with EDP it has been one problem after the other. I even have readings on the app which is more than useless that shows electricity being generated at night! That seems to be little incentive for this X state owned business to get to grips with poor customer service, all I can say if you are thinking of installing think very carefully I would never do it again. This is one of the most unstable apps I have ever used. Most often it take 2 or 3 attempts to connect to solar system and does not seem possible to give real-time data readings. Also logs out for no apparent reason. Poor Still takes 2 or 3 attempts to connect to my solar system. Over 6 days of production and usage missing from monthly stats. Having a response an an appointment for technical support. I came to Portugal. Stayed in all day of the 27th and Sérgio Rodrigues the engineer I was expecting, surprise surprise did not turn up. No call nothing. EDP Solar. DO NOT go there. There are many more reliable companies who do the same thing.
Totally unreliable. Solar panels taking up space not saving the planet. Well done EDP
Back in January I posted a bad review if this app and the service of EDP solar in Portugal. Hoping to get some help with a very long term issue. I heard back from someone called Jose F from EDP digital. I have his full name but chose not to publish here. There followed many many emails and promises of assistance. I got very excited. Only for the emails and help to stop suddenly. No reply. No help. How a monopoly company can get away with treating their customers like this. It's appalling. FIX YOUR APP for the love of God! Over a year ago the app stopped showing any data. I gave contacted EDP in person and in line and no one can tell us if our panels are producing energy. This is because the EDP bill only show ms the amount due after any energy produced is deducted. It does not show the amount deducted if any!! Do the only way you know if the panels are working is if the app shows the energy produced. The app is not working!!! Do we are paying for solar panels but don't know if they work. So ANNOYING. Is the problem with the app or the panels???
