New update - EDP removes many negative reviews!
we are not going on holidays so we can save up to remove EDP system. It is in our experience very inaccurate includes electricity at night.! any electricity you generate and sent to the EDP grid is minimal 0.001 euro per kwh - This was a very bad experience for me as a consumer and I guess other consumers who have also written reviews are also very unhappy. I’ve already mentioned that many of the bad reviews. keep being removed.
EDP needs to treat its customers better and make a better offer to customers.
People of Portugal need more competition in the power supply business which with regulation will improve the quality of service and innovation away from this state owned utility- which the Chinese government though its 3 Gorges Dam power co.is the biggest shareholder

This app is useless. UPDATE Feb 24

Having a response an an appointment for technical support. I came to Portugal. Stayed in all day of the 27th and Sérgio Rodrigues the engineer I was expecting, surprise surprise did not turn up. No call nothing. EDP Solar. DO NOT go there. There are many more reliable companies who do the same thing.
Totally unreliable. Solar panels taking up space not saving the planet. Well done EDP
Back in January I posted a bad review if this app and the service of EDP solar in Portugal. Hoping to get some help with a very long term issue. I heard back from someone called Jose F from EDP digital. I have his full name but chose not to publish here. There followed many many emails and promises of assistance. I got very excited. Only for the emails and help to stop suddenly. No reply. No help. How a monopoly company can get away with treating their customers like this. It's appalling. FIX YOUR APP for the love of God! Over a year ago the app stopped showing any data. I gave contacted EDP in person and in line and no one can tell us if our panels are producing energy. This is because the EDP bill only show ms the amount due after any energy produced is deducted. It does not show the amount deducted if any!! Do the only way you know if the panels are working is if the app shows the energy produced. The app is not working!!! Do we are paying for solar panels but don't know if they work. So ANNOYING. Is the problem with the app or the panels???

Downloaded, entered my details and I’m in. It was in my language (English) and as it all looks new I’ll reserve my review until I’ve used it a while.
Did notice reports are not in English.
