The grind never stops to get the world to cook, so we’ve got a tasty update for you, chefs! - Comments are now LIVE! Therapeutically share your thoughts and feelings with other Parsnip users on our recipe screens and in level. Don’t worry, you can still leave general feedback that’ll go to our team, too. - Did someone say BADGES? Get shiny badges for playing in Parsnip. Some of them are secret, so you’ll have to play around in order to unlock them - For newbies, we’ve updated our onboarding/tutorial to better show what Parsnip’s all about and how our app works - You can now keep track of which recipes you’ve made by tapping the “I made this!” button on the recipe screen. (Try the Vegan Chili recipe, it's great!!) - By playing all the levels AND tapping the “I made this!” button, you’ll see a completed tag on the dishes screen to indicate you’ve completed the whole dish. Noice work

We're working on some big changes and are excited to introduce the early stages of some fun new social features. - You can now leave comments and discuss our recipes and quiz questions. - We've created a new 'dish' tab. This is now where you select the recipes you want to learn - We've made it easier to jump into dishes and levels from the 'home' tab - Some adjustments have been made to the sign-up process - The settings screen has been shuffled around a little for ease of use

Hey Parsnip fans! We have a bunch of improvements that we're excited to share with you (and a lot more on the way). - There is now a dedicated tab for selecting a new dish to learn. We came up with a really original name for this: "the dish tab". - Dishes can now be filtered by dietary restrictions. Vegans rejoice! - We've adjusted the text size in the tutorial for smaller screens. Sorry for making you squint. - A few visual elements have been shuffled around, adjusted, and updated for your viewing pleasure. - It is even easier to access your skills page from the home screen. Now you have no excuse not to learn how to toast your own spices. - Some wizardry has gone on behind the scenes that will allow you to customize your profile picture and username for some upcoming social features... stay tuned for a lot more ways to have fun with Parsnip

Hey everyone, We’d like to introduce you to Parsnip’s new look. -The home screen has been redesigned to make it easier to pick up where you left off and discover exciting new things to learn -We’ve listened to your feedback and have made the indicators that a question is right or wrong much clearer -It should now be easier to access recipes that you have unlocked through gameplay on the ‘library’ tab -The UI for multiple select style questions have been updated to make them easier to understand -An issue has been fixed that wasn’t assigning the correct number of stars for completing levels -A sound toggle has been added to settings -We’ve added a toggle to the stats screen for easier access to our upcoming unlockable badges -The groundwork has been laid for an exciting new question type to help you learn even faster!

Hey everyone! As the fall leaves change color, we too have been making seasonal changes in Parsnip. As always, please let us know if there's anything else you think needs improving! -We've added an all new starter level to help new users understand some of the goals and learning methodologies used in Parsnip -A suite of Thanksgiving dishes have been added to the app just in time for you to cook them during the holidays. Gobble gobble -Progress in your dishes can now be seen from the dish selection menu with a progress bar -There are also now tags and visual cues to let you know which dishes are new or complete, right from the dish selection screen -It should be easier now to identify which recipes you've unlocked recently, with a 'new' indicator in your library -We've added some fun animated confetti to some screens to make them feel more rewarding -A bunch of other small visual adjustments and bugfixes

We've been honing the overall experience of our quizzes lately. Since trial and error is a large part of our learning process, we wanted to make sure that inevitable failures are easier to recover from and that trying again is less frustrating. Please let us know how it feels! -Answer choices for questions will no longer shuffle when reattempting. This should make it easier to succeed on subsequent tries! -Multiselect and multiple choice question types will now grey out previously selected wrong answers, making them feel way less like a stab in the dark. -Sequencing questions should be easier to solve and easier to understand how to get correct. -Multiselect questions now have a small counter to let you know exactly how many correct answers there are to select. -We've fixed an issue that made it difficult to share our questions with friends. Now you should be able to test them with ease.

Hello again Parsnip cooks! We’ve been working hard behind the scenes and have some new things to share with you. Please keep the feedback coming and tell us what we should improve next! Parsnip now has a streak system so you can keep track of how consistently you are keeping your skills honed... like a knife. Videos have been given some love so now we can demonstrate more complicated concepts before and after answering questions. There are even more places to leave your valuable feedback, including suggestions for which dishes you want to see next. Order up! The scoring system has been adjusted and it should be easier to earn stars now. So shiny! Sequencing questions have been reworked so they should be much clearer to understand and sort into the correct order. We made a few visual tweaks that should make the app a little prettier. There’s a bunch of fixes under the hood that should make for a much smoother experience.
