  • MULTIPLAYER

the multiplayer is really bad. It puts you up against people with the best gear and hackers. I was fighting someone and he hit me when I wasn’t even near him. I got one shotted by him
  • Recent balance patch is awful

I really love this game but the latest balance patch has made it nearly unplayable. Previously, fights would last about 30 seconds to a minute. Limbs could sometimes be crippled with a single lucky hit but with decent armor it would usually take some persistence. The pacing was nearly perfect. Now damage has been nerfed across the board so fights can last upwards of two to three minutes. Crippling limbs is extraordinarily difficult even if the opponent is inadequately armored so don't even think about getting through good plate. Instead of strategically targeting the enemies's weakest points to cripple them quickly every battle has become a slow grind of attrition. This also makes 3 starring fights far more difficult since the opponent will most likely grind your health below the threshold before you can deal them a critical blow. It also feels like sharp weapons get stuck in their target more often and even unimpeded swings are slow and clumsy but that could just be my frustration making me more prone to noticing these things. Please restore the previous balancing.

  • Fun and brutal

I am loving this game. I kept seeing it and thought that it looked lame so I never played it, but one day I decided I’d give it a try, and I am so happy I did. So the game is like this gladiatorial arena type thing where you can earn money and new weapons by fighting using two thumb sticks (one for each arm) and physics based combat. I don’t have any complaints other than that when the game plays an ad after the ad the sound for the game stops and you can’t hear anything. I’m still rating five stars though because I don’t know if it’s the ad, or the games fault. I definitely recommend.

  • I’d love to support, but:

Hands down, one of the most frustrating gaming experiences I’ve ever had. Fun systems and mechanics, just weighed down by clunky controls and physics that are more frustrating to play with, than anything. My time spent in the multiplayer goes like this: 15% chance I get matched with someone within my SKILL and GEAR, 85% chance I get paired up against some dude swinging a flail around like he’s trying to smack an invisible piñata, and if it’s not a flail, it’s some 1-Shot hammer or mace, that won’t even make substantial contact with my head, and I just drop dead. The only way to win any of the matches, is to find the most toxic and cheap way to play, since that’s quite literally the only way you can win one of these matches, unless you find someone AFK.
I know I might be asking a lot for a phone game, but this has potential to be so much better than it currently is, and I’d love to support more. But if I keep playing, I will surely tear my phone in half.

  • It’s good but…

It’s a very good but it’s doesn’t work it just says logging in I was waiting for 20 and it didn’t work
  • Great game (recommended)

The game is probably the best if not one of the best mobile fighting games I’ve ever played, there weren’t even that much ads but people still complain for some reason. The game has a large variety of weapons armour and shields, people use unique weapon builds to battle each other. The only thing that bothers me is that some weapons are so broken they are basically unstoppable in ranked such as flails axes and maces they need a lil bit of a nerf, anyways this game is a must play fr

  • Great Game!! But Broken Armor and Mechanics

Honestly a great game with 3 story/campaign regions full of hundreds of levels. Tons of armor and weapons to choose from and all from the region they hail (closely). Only thing is… when it comes to online mode, the game is massively unbalanced. Players who have already went through the 3000 level campaign, or even just made it through 500 levels in a one region have a advantage over new players. The high tier weapons and armor (both earned from progression through campaign and online ranked matches) are very overpowered. Weapons like the heavy ball mace, the stabbing spear, the roman gladius sword can absolutely devastate your health. And abnormally quick when it comes to the stabbing spear. Hands down, if you want to get arthritis in your hand and fingers while using the spear, go ahead. It’s the best weapon in the game, all you have to do is grapple your enemy with the shaft and bodyslam them on the ground repeatedly. Pretty abnormal use for a STABBING SPEAR!! The game mechanics need some more work, if they would follow the use of the actual weapons, this game would be GOLDEN.

  • Best Mobile Fighting Game Ever

This is such a good game I would recommend it to anyone who likes fighting games. There weren’t a lot of adds but maybe thats just be being lucky. Its very addictive and you cant get a better fighting game than this.
  • AWESOME GAME

This game is literally amazing. This game has so much historical accuracy down to the absolute point. This game has simple controls so that anybody can play and there is so much customization from 3 super powers in this game. You wear plate armor or have a mix of plate and gambeson. There is so many weapons you can choose from too. In total this game is so much fun. I’m surprised that this game started on mobile. This game is a PC worthy game. So yeah this game is awesome historical accuracy on point.

Also could you add a pike as a new weapon for Holy Roman Empire. It would add a new way to combat in the game since the pike has longest melee reach of all melee weapons. That would be a pretty cool if you did that but it’s fine if you don’t.

  • It’s not perfect…but so what!? It’s fun!

there’s a lot of nitpicking going on when it comes to such a small and simple mobile game that it seems unfair. The gameplay is smooth as butter, the controls are so easy a baby could play it (though no baby should be playing this game), and the retro graphics make this game feel like it’s just the right amount of gore without being unappealing. The sound….the sound is where this game shines and I don’t think gets enough credit! The sound of the weapons colliding in combat or the grunt of your opponent as you skewer their kneecap all are just the right timbre to make you feel like you are really in a battle to the death! This game isn’t supposed to keep you entertained for hours…it’s supposed to keep you busy for 15-20 mins and I can tell you this game does that very well! You can ever come up with your own strategy for fighting by balancing your offensive and defensive measures while also having to balance fatigue and weight. This game is very well thought out and it’s well worth the $3 for the ads free!
