THEY STOLE MY MONEY!!!!

I went to dollar general to get the card I loaded 300 in the card so I could pay my college bills because I lost my debit card and only had cash and no car so I couldn’t go to the bank here I am thinking I found a way to pay my college bills WRONG!! Everytime I tried to register but it didn’t work even tho I used the right information and kept saying my information for the card sint roghy I have tried my roommates cellphone and it still didn’t work then I tried to put the card number and the Cvv it kept saying it’s wrong !! I called customer services and they didn’t even help me the lady was rude and disrespectful and hunged up on me all I wanted to do was use this card to pay my college bills I’ve saved up for this money for months nowwww , and now I can’t even use it because it won’t let me make an account and keeps denying my approval I’ve been sad and crying I don’t know how I’m gonna pay my college bills or anything this app is a total scam !! I’m so disappointed words can’t even describe how I’m feeling my whole life is on the line because of this card please if anybody wants to donate and help me my cashapp is $ellafilani

Garbage

This card is trash. Not so much the card, but the support and app. Follow instructions, punch in the card number, verify mobile number and then get an “oops we are experiencing technical difficulties” pop up. Can’t call someone and when I hit “forgot login, because I have yet to be asked to create one, I get the same error message. Five hours now and no better. I’ll spend the money that’s on the card and move on to another.

Card issues

Only being able to load the card at a maximum of $500 at a time is a definite hassle. In addition, the biggest problem is that the liberty ATM/bitcoin machine that I use will not except the card. I called customer service and they said there was no block on it, and so forth, blah blah blah. I called the liberty ATM customer service and they said that the Spendwell card company was not allowing the transaction to go through. I will be discontinuing use of the card for that reason alone. Bad experience

This card did not work. Put money on it to make an internet purchase and it Declined two times. What a mess! Called customer care and the rep was rude. Kept saying I didn’t activate or register when I know good and and well I did. He was of no help. I just wanted my money back off that miserable card. For goodness sake it’s just a prepaid card so it should not be that complicated to activate. Worst prepaid service I’ve ever experienced. Traumatized me for just trying to make a simple online purchase. If don’t deserve 1 star.

Not as useful as they say it is

I bought one of their cards at the dollar general store because it was reloadable, so when I got home and did what it said to do, I tried to get online to the account, it kept knocking me off saying invalid password, and I had it wrote down. So I called the number on the card, and they said it was activated, so i tried to use it online, it said invalid card number. So I spent the money on this card that won’t work for me and I can’t create an online account to see how much I have on it. It’s useless and I will not recommend it for anyone. I’m going to take it back to the dollar store and demand them to give me my money back for something that won’t even work like it’s supposed to work. I got the card to finally work, but I had to put it under my mom’s name to get it activated, but I can’t get into the account we put it under because it says the same thing as it did when I tried to sign in under my name, account doesn’t exist. I know the card worked because i made a purchase with it, but I just can’t login to your website. So after I get the new card or when I use up the money that I have on this card. I’m not going to put any more money on it and just forget about the account. It is totally useless.
Also when I try to sign it, it will say sending email to verify sign in and I never get an email to verify it’s my account. So trying to use this card is useless and trying to online to website is even more useless.

Do not get this card!

Do not get this card. I put $100 on this card went to register it & they said I was not approved they told me I could only use it online at certain places. Only giving 1 star cuz I have to

Scamming

I purchase a card and put funds on went online to register gave them all my info and at the very end it wouldn’t go through two I did it again and it said that the card number invalid I had a balance of 20 on it called the company they said they have nothing to do with it that I was denied and only could use the money online I slent 19 somethjng they removed the remaining valence and closed my account. I didn’t receive the extra ten dollars they advertise on the card for registration either. Not to mention the lady seemed a bit sketchy and wouldn’t give me reasons why I was denied. Isn’t it the law for them to tell you the reason you’ve been denied not to mention it’s a releasable debit card. Stay clear of it they don’t give you what they claim nor are they in your best interest.

The USA PATRIOT Act requires all financial institutions and their third parties to obtain, verify, and record information that identifies each person who opens an Account. If we are unable to verify your identity, we may not be able to approve your application. If you have any questions or concerns regarding the remaining funds on your starter card, please contact customer care at 833.609.8472. To receive a $10 statement credit for accounts opened following in-store purchase of a starter card, you must purchase a starter card in store between March 3, 2022-June 15, 2023, and successfully register online at myspendwell.com within 30 days of purchase. The statement credit will be posted to the account within 30 days of the successful registration. Limit one (1) $10 credit per customer.

Crap

For almost a month now I haven’t been able to send money to other spendwell card holders. It says “unable to process at this time” Is this issue ever gonna get fixed?? Me and my husband always used the send money option… now it doesn’t work! Also I didn’t get the $10 sign up bonus and didn’t get the money for having my income tax deposited to my spendwell account either.

Waste of time

Be nice if they had the option of change email when you make an account. I did gmail instead of iCloud and now I can’t even get my money off the card. so I just lost almost a grand…
