Works well enough in terms of capturing drives, and the app is well presented. The map view in particular is useful to see where each event was recorded.
However there are two significant flaws for using the app in the UK, which are made even worse by the fact there is a country setting in the user profile which seems to do nothing useful.
1) We use miles and mph in the UK. The app presents all information in km and km/h
2) Speed events are based on some made-up nonsense about 40km/h in built up areas and 80km/h elsewhere. These limits can’t be adjusted and the bear no resemblance to UK speed limits, which are up to 70mph (114km/h).
The app needs to have a miles/mph option and allow the speed thresholds to be adjusted. However it would be better to pull the actual speed limits from one of the map providers and use this to judge excess speed.
This app has 5 star potential but not until these issues are addressed.
