  • Company refuses to inform what happened…

    Customer in good standing since 2019. In late 2023 I get a new credit card from Capital One. I learn Capital One has a partnership with Melio, fantastic I confirm payment intention in advance with Melio and Capital One. AOK to proceed. Payments are submitted but never arrive. I eventually dig deep to discover payments failed. There were no emails saying there was a problem with payment. Even signing into my Melio account, no notification. Further discover my account was disabled and no one will tell me why. Email, live chat and calls (arranged through Capital One) all say wait form compliance to respond. Months passed and no word from Compliance. The refuse to tell me what happened. One person said they could not verify my account, yet it is the same business, same EIN, same address since the start. This is not right.

  • Decent, albeit expensive. Service if you do not need support.

    Been a customer in good standing for years.

    Had a need to make a few mortgage payments through Melio, so contact Melio and Capital One in advance to inform and authorize. All went well, and C1 even shared their Melio partnership for a slightly reduced rate. Fantastic.

    Payments were not arriving at vendors as expected so logged into portal and after some digging discovered ‘payment failed’ messages. Surprised there wasn’t a single email, notification not even anything in the portal itself as ai am signed into my account.

    Contacted support for help, and told to email Compliance. Weeks and weeks have passed and nothing from Compliance.

    Support on Twitter/X, states my account has payment limitations and after saying wait to hear back from Compliance, ignored followup and blocked me from responding.

    No phone number to call, no live chat - nothing but email and email is being ignored. No one will provide info on what transpired. Did nothing wrong.

    Need to get payments submitted, weeks passed and Melio refuses to communicate.
    Next step will be CFPB.
