No Free Version
I downloaded and used this app for a total of 5 minutes to identify some plants, got to identify 3, before being totally shut out of every single feature in the app unless I follow the consistent and annoying prompt to subscribe and pay monthly or weekly for this. I understand having a “premium” version, we all gotta make money but aside from the ridiculous pricing, there is NO free version at all. After using just that one identification feature 3 times, I now can’t add a single plant, can’t use the diagnosing feature, can’t use or set up a watering schedule because it won’t let me add a single plant. At that point just charge people to download the app because it’s extremely pointless for people like me who genuinely need and are looking for a free plant care app because they can’t afford to sling money wherever. Woulda saved my time if this was advertised correctly because it makes less sense to me to download an app I cannot use in any sense without throwing in some money regularly. So to sum it up, no part of this is free. You get to try out a single feature of your choosing for a couple moments then you have to PAY a subscription to use ANY part of the app at all. So great for money-bags who don’t have to worry about where they spend their money, not-so-great for the countless people who are struggling and just trying to practice some self-care through plant-care.Show lessHarleysSickMind
Please remove the needless 5 second wait
Between ticking off each item as watered, you have to wait for a five second animation of that item filling up with water before you can proceed to the next item.
Sometimes I will go outside and just water five things really quickly. I'd like to just go back to the app and tap five times to tick them off and move on with my day, instead I have to stop and wait for the silly animation to complete for every plant.Show lessAJ_Grant

this is AMAZING for plant lovers
i'm a new 14 year old plant keeper and i always name all my plants, i just found this app and it's so adorable, i definitely recommend because it keeps track of everything for me so i don't forget. <3 loving it thanksSashashashashahshaha
Does not recognize all types of plants
I have a holy basil plant at home and this app could not identify it. Kept on saying I have a moringa plant. I tried searching for holy basil but it wasn’t even listed on there. Please update the app to recognize plants that are grown in other countries and how to care for them. Not everyone owns plants that are found in North America.Show lessAnonymous*102

Not only the app does not work and can jot identify any of the plants properly , they also have an atrocious customer service . Been trying to get in touch for a month now , no one’s bothered . Avoid at all costs !!!!!Ziceks
Issues with Notifications
I like the app but I don’t understand how notifications work. Do they come up at a certain time of day or is there a way to edit this? I have to physically open the app to see when to water my plants but I’d rather it actually notify me. Notifications are turned on in my settings on my phone but I don’t get any from the app itself.Show lesskeelyschuster
Almost there…
So I think this is a pretty aesthetically cute app. I love that it measures the your light sources. I didn’t really like that you had to add the plant, name it, create watering schedule and measure the plants light source before it even told what kind of plant it was. Also, even though I love the fonts and graphics, they are a bit off. Some words and questions were cut off from either the top or side. I will probably check on this app again in the future and hope that there are improvements. It’s not quite good enough yet to get me to subscribe. I think the price is a bit too high for an app with so many issues.Show lessJamin1232765
