Schedule not working
The app mentions you can create schedule and scenes. However it is not working. It was the whole point of buying smart blinds. Not recommended.
Lost Bluetooth pairing with update
After update, all Bluetooth settings were lost and had to be paired all over again. Kind of a pain but finally got it working.
Latest update cleared all settings
Previous version was fine. Registration not required. Could control blinds with Bluetooth no problem. Updated last week. New app version deleted all settings on my phone. Useless app now. No more Bluetooth option. My blinds are Bluetooth only.

Blinds only work randomly, this app is terrible simple functions don’t work at all. You can hook up Yoolax blinds to Alexa and even then it will work for about a day and a half and stop working. Batteries die so fast on the blinds you have to plug them into charge at least twice a month. Without the cheap crappy remote the blinds come with, it would literally be impossible to open or close my blinds. And I paid a premium for these blinds since they’re not cheap.
Stay away from Yoolax and be worry of a company name change from them.

App will not connect
This experience has been frustrating to say the least. I’ve contacted customer support for help and all I get is a link to a instruction video. My phones Bluetooth never sees the device and app consistently fails to connect.
Works, good customer service
I was loving this app. Had no trouble setting it up, even got it working with Alexa thanks to another reviewer's tip about how to do that (have to add the shade as a sub device to the BLE Gateway Pro).
Then all of a sudden the Yoolax app stopped working for me and would not allow me to log in, giving me an error message that said "network is unavailable" even though my internet is working just fine. I tried deleting and reinstalling the app and after I did that it would no longer work with Alexa and the only way I could operate the blind was with the physical remote.
Update: I emailed customer support and within one two days they emailed me back to tell me my problem was caused by a bug that they found and fixed. Sure enough, I was able to log back in and use everything as before.
4 stars because getting everything set up is a hassle, and because the network connection is iffy even though we have fast fiber internet, the shade is not far from the router, and we are using a wired connection for our gateway device.

Worst IPhone app ever

Integration with Google/Alex work! But auto setup has a flaw
The 27 one star reviews are unfair. The integrations with Google and Alex work, but not as per the guided steps. Once in the Yoolax app, make sure to pair your BLE Gateway with the blinds: (A) 5s hold on the blinds, blinks blue; then (B) in the app, tap BLE gateway, BLE sub-device, and detect the blinds via Bluetooth. This is not in the user manual. It works beautifully via voice now. I’d give it 5-stars, but the user manual missed this important step.

On/Off buttons reversed.
The”On” button would close the blind whereas the “Off” button would open the blind!! Simple functions like this shouldn’t have these types of problems. Unprofessional testers!!!
