Every time I take a picture of the gem, it gives me a different definition and description of of it. The app definitely has a tremendous amount of flaws and you should not take anything that it says for truth.2337484848

Gave me obviously wrong results, plus the zoom is incredibly broken. Zooming in just one “plus” and it’s SO close the image is fuzzy and unreadable. Just awful. Needs a lot of work. Thank god for a free trialHikerChick12

Sadly it’s not a great app
I have been collecting rocks and crystals for 60 years now and I bought a monthly subscription to try this to see how accurate it is. Unfortunately, it got 100% of 10 common crystals WRONG!! I had to correct the outcome of every single crystal I tried on the app! I tried opal, selenite, labradorite, turquoise, obsidian, rose quartz, clear quartz, lava rock, pyrite and aquamarine. Some of the identifications were actually laughable, however, if a beginning collector was depending upon this app for identification, they would be given incorrect information that could potentially cause damage. Not good!!
Please work on developing a more accurate app because this is not good enough to buy!Show lessnana8855

I have a collection of stones, rocks and gems that I tried this one. It didn’t identify any of them correctly unfortunately. For instance a purple Amethyst was identified as (white) Moonstone and then (green) Amazonite. Refund requested.Fireball78
Inaccurate, didn’t provide info I was looking for
Actually dumbfounded by some of the results, how can black onyx be mistaken for carnelian? Amethyst results included coral and some bright green stone. Each attempt to edit a name of a stone or crystal resulted in the app closing.
I canceled free trial 10 minutes after subscribing. According to the other reviews, apparently I need to check to see if I was charged anyway. Btw… I have only left less than a handful of app reviews so that should say something right there.Show lessnic4181

Don’t waste your time or money
I was so excited to try this app. But I just tested accuracy with ten different basic crystals…not one single correct identification. All of them were very wrong.pamgauciela

This app is ridiculous. Not even close to accurate . Just sends you a list of random gems when you scan. Has no educational purpose and is a complete rip off. Plus they charge you days ahead of time and won’t let you cancel your subscription. Worst app I’ve ever had to deal with. Downloading was a huge mistake.Show lessComon Rider 971
