Abandoned in Peru!
Utter bunch of amateurs, we were lied to through the booking process where our agent tried to add cost to the agreed price. We were mislead over hold luggage costs & then shafted for another £600. The ‘Superior’ accommodation & rooms paid for where clearly not superior, one hotel room at the Hacienda hotel came without windows or ventilation. In the nobility grand hotel, rooms are rented out by the hour so you can take a guess at the clientele. The first room we were offered was actually already occupied which was somewhat embarrassing to walk in on. To top it all, our return flight was cancelled. The Exottica ‘ helpline’ promoted as key to feeling safe & being able to support ref issues is, in fact utterly useless. We had several conversations cut off, not one operator offered any help whatsoever, nor have we had any follow up ref how we are going on. (We are still stranded 2 days on awaiting our flight out of Peru)
