The best app for house chores

This app makes managing chores so much easier. I love how I can assign tasks, set reminders, and even organize everything by room. It’s simple to use and has been great for keeping everyone on track. Definitely worth trying if you struggle to stay on top of chores

Horrible update

They updated the app so that every time you view a task to complete it, you’re automatically in edit mode. It is immensely frustrating and makes completing tasks way more difficult because you can accidentally change things if you tap even slightly wrong— such as trying to check a list item instead of editing the text of the item.

Newly created items default to recurring weekly. The entire app is now completely unintuitive and I absolutely HATE IT. I actually pay for this app and I’m furious they changed the entire interface overnight!

Flexibility

A lot of the times my schedule changes from 1st to 3rd shift so it would be nice to have the program. 1–Realize if I was at Work to remind me when I arrive home
2–or if it’s an off day to just start at a time of my choice,
3– and be able to have different times for different days of the week

$50 “discounted” yearly subscription to join a house with my partner. You’ve gotta be joking. Go download flatastic, free to use app together and many more features.

Getting it together

Update: This may not effect some, but we had a storm hit our area. We lost papers for four days and lost our internet for 19 days. We have no cellular service when we are home. That’s when I realized this app has to have one or the other. I would still recommend the app to everyone. I was just disappointed that I could not use the app.

I am a business owner. I work full time. When I get home house work is not what I want to do. I’ve had this app a little over 2 weeks. My house is looking so much better. I like that I have like 5-10 chores to do a day. It can be cleaning cobwebs or as simple disinfecting the door knobs. I don’t feel overwhelmed now. I am actually considering getting the subscription so I can add my business chores to the list! Thank you I feel like I am finally getting it together!! 💕

Saved my marriage

Obsessed with this app. The ability to turn on rotations for tasks means that there is never any question about whether or not things are fair or equal. After ten years of resentment toward my spouse for doing nothing, he is now making an honest effort after seeing all the household tasks clearly laid out. Life saver!

Brilliant

I just love how easy it is to use. I am able to set my tasks and how often I want to do them and it’s just there on my list. Keeps me motivated and means I rotate jobs on a regular bases.
Very high recommend this app.

My home has never been cleaner!

I highly recommend this app! It takes the guess work out of what needs to be done each day. It is customizable and easy to set up. It’s almost like a game to see how fast I can check off the chores. I use the free version, but if I had known about this app when my children were at home, I definitely would have paid for the upgrade. With the upgrade you can share and assign daily chores. Thank you to the team that made this app available!

Keeps my ADHD brain on track!

Super easy to use and customize. My only suggestion would be to make the preset tasks room agnostic, otherwise it’s confusing to see the exact same language pop up over and over. I don’t know how many times I just assumed I’d been distracted and ended up selecting the same task four or five times thinking I’d scrolled back up to the top! Still, IMO, not enough to ding a star.
