  • People complain too much!

Game runs phenomenal upon release. Fighting is smooth graphics are incredible and story is great so far. I literally NEVER write reviews but here’s the facts. Everyone is complaining about 24GB, get over it. Get a modern device that has 256GB storage and higher or don’t play the game. Whether you play on your phone or on a console it’s the same anywhere. Most console games are HUNDREDS of GBs. The amount of petty complaining is comical.

To the Devs, I have been waiting day after day for release and you have not disappointed. I’m hooked right off the get go. The wait was worth it. I don’t care about the size of your game or the future updates, if you keep its running this smooth and with cool content in the future then I’m all for it!
  • Great game!

For real tho, what is with all of the people who don’t like the game ‘cause it’s not “Perfect” or “It’s Glitchy” It literally came out two days ago!!! (As of writing this) stop ZZZ slander!!

Ok, but in all seriousness, this is actually a pretty good game, (my only issue is that there isn’t a lot, but It’s version 1.0, It’ll get updated) I think the battle mechanics are pretty engaging, and the story is also pretty enjoyable, and the characters! They’re like ligit good! I’ve laughed so hard at some lines, and I’ve really grown to like other characters, and the story just ties it all together!

All in all, I don’t think it compares to other Hoyoverse masterpieces. But it’s relatively new, give it a chance! (I’m looking at you, ZZZ haters) I think new players will like it once they give it a shot. (Also side note, if you play close attention to a character [Anby] she hums a song in one of her idol animations! 🥹 must protecc)
  • Fun combat

I’ve been having a ton of fun playing this game since launch and really have enjoyed the combat, it reminds me of a cross between the Arkham series, devil may cry, and ultimate alliance blended into on fighting system. I also think a good amount of the character designs are pretty cool as well. Now the game is somewhat large at 20gb but for most phones that aren't ancient have over 120gb of memory anyway so it’s not that much in the grand scheme of things. Plus it is pc/ps5 game also being released on mobile so of course it’s going to be a bit large. All in all I’d highly recommend giving it a try may take a little to download but if your a fan of the combat systems I mentioned earlier I guarantee you’ll have fun with this game.
  • Lots of space, sorta lied about 100 pulls, bad gameplay

-I’ve been playing for a few days and ive been soured by this games experience. First, it takes over 24gb of space which is a lot considering this is the 3-4 game Hoyoverse has made. Second is the so called “obtain 100 free searchers as a gift” thing. While it is sorta true, the creators didn’t give EXACT details. To obtain the 100 searchers, it requires completing EVERYTHING in the event section. That means reaching LEVEL 30, mastering everything, and mass leveling up. So it’s not just ‘you can get 100 pulls’ but more like ‘during the course of this game for a while, you can only obtain 100 pulls and that’s it’. Lastly is the gacha, it has some of the worst features and I almost feel like it’s rigged. Over the course of 3 rerolls for the starting banner, I GOT ALL REDHAIRED LADIES FOR ALL 3. At that moment, I believe that this gacha is rigged and you always get the same character (Note: might just be horrible luck). My hopes for ZZZ are not high and others say the same thing as well.

  • Finally something different coming Mihoyo

I prefer this game over Genshin impact or star rail because its leaning more into western naming and doesn’t much Chinese influence. The art style are very nice and smooth. Quick time event during combat is refreshing feature. i’m current running medium setting on my Iphone 15 pro max with 125GB of space so i can extend gaming session before my phone get warm. However the in-game economy is wack compare to Genshin and Honkai, it make you feel like you have to spend more to be able to roll for limited time character. However they do give you the option to farm. And the 25 GB is a lot for base game, developer need to allocate or compress the file down so this game would not take a quarter to half of the phone storage in the future update. I would recommend playing this game on laptop or PC.
  • Really nice game 0_<

This game is honestly such a nice change of pace from other games, like Genshin Impact, where you feel like you’re in a rush and need to play everyday without missing out. ZZZ, (This game) has this cozy feeling to it, and if you want you can take it slow, and I really love that. The atmosphere of Sixth Street is beautiful, the attention to detail makes the game feel more lively and as if it’s a real place, not just a town full of NPC’s, speaking of the NPC’s they’re all so beautiful. Unlike Genshin Impact where you are unable to distinguish an NPC from a rock, this game gives each NPC they’re own personality, and all the interactions with the NPC’s are special to them. I recommend this game to people who enjoy games that can be slow, or fast paced, I don’t know how to explain it but it doesn’t feel like you’re in a rush to get everything done, like you can take your time doing everything there is to do without missing out anything.
Overall, this game is totally awesome the only downside is the amount of storage it takes up, but it does makes sense if you take into the account the graphics, and all the content that is packed into this game.
I highly recommend this game after playing it everyday since release.
  • Huge problems with the size

I’ve been looking forward to Zeneless Zone Zero since it was announced, and I’ve been a big Anby fan since. I play every Hoyoverse game asides from those not available on Global. Naturally, I was excited to download it on my PC as usual, but the space required was ridiculous. Next to nobody has 100gb of free space on their disc, unless they want ZZZ to be the only game they play. That’s crossing the line, and this is just on release, too, the space required will only increase…
That doesn’t mean I gave up though, I had to sacrifice a ton of stuff on my phone so I could download it here. Insanely inconvenient. I highly doubt that the quality of the game can make up for this huge issue, despite it looking amazing. I have seen very few people actually be able to play the game, for this reason ALONE. Many people haven’t been able to download regardless of their devices.
My rating may change once and IF I am able to play, but for now we’re going with a solid two stars.
Hoyoverse, listen to your players for once..
  • Greed alienating your player base and obstructing your judgement

Another understandably storage consuming, gacha, cash grab game from hoyoverse with underwhelming characters and a guaranteed five star with a supposedly arbitrary chance to be one of the six, but, so far, I only get the boring wolf or the neko girl when I only want one 5 star out of the six. Really should just let people choose. Why would a wolf guy appeal to me in any way besides his personality? Aesthetics are crucial. It would be fine if he was, like, my third five star.
Wouldn’t it be better to prioritize letting your player base choose a five star and stay longer in the hopes of them possibly spending money later, than quitting the game all entirely or going through the tedious process of trying your luck on other accounts?
Tell you what, I’d work for Hoyoverse if they pay well, but I wouldn’t play their games without copious amounts of money, because their stories and designs are unoriginal and repetitive in comparison with each other essentially. Especially HSR and Genshin impact(story). The combat and graphics in ZZZ is great though, they always seem to get that right in their games.
Totally my opinion for some statements, but good luck to the people who are fine with characters they don’t like, and as for the wealthy people who decide to play, have fun. The world is your oyster. And before anyone tells me just not to play their games, don’t worry, that’s exactly what I’m gonna do.
  • The game is amazing :)

I know a lot of people are complaining about the size of the game. Yes it’s a lot of storage on your phone, but if you are truly a mobile gamer that is something that you should have anticipated. This game was designed with the iPhone 15 Pro/Max in mind. I would guess that it was presumed that most users would own one of these devices with at least 512gb of storage. That is presumed the standard for gaming enthusiasts. With that out of the way, my only complain is that the game could be even better if we had more RAM on these phones. But that is an apple issue, not the game developers. So there are no complains here for the game :)
  • Bad Even Aside From The Storage Issues

I gave the game a fair shot. Downloaded it on a tablet so it had storage, played for a few hours. Can definitely say this is the worst Mihoyo game from this era. The combat is “mash and pray” with a forced swap mechanic every few seconds that almost never keeps you as characters you want to play. The core gameplay loop of the exploration (if you can call it that) is dull, gets repetitive very quickly and has a ton of minor issues that quickly become apparent like the camera not following movement. The camera in this game’s generally pretty mid too. Then there’s the awful short-loop music, which Mihoyo is usually good at, so I found it strange. Oh, and I haven’t even mentioned the gacha rates yet, which are worse than Star Rail, and I don’t even play Star Rail.

All of that said, are there things to like? Sure. World seems somewhat colorful and interesting when you’re not softlocked and not getting some frame drops. Some characters seem interesting enough to stand out from the sea of mid or annoying it drops upon you at the start. That, that may be it.

Just stick to whatever other Mihoyo game you were playing before, one of the worst games of this year. And if you weren’t playing any and were considering this to try it out, please do anything else.
