Fun but most greedy and P2W game ever

While I am enjoying this game for several months now, it is crazy in your face to buy buy buy. Prices are ridiculous. But it is possible to play free, just have to be easy more patient.

Brilliant

Such an amazing game! But I’ve gotten to a boss level where there are too many spawning to do any good damage to the boss and it’s impossible without paying for upgrades! Which is a shame:(

Fake

Not the real game advertised

Fantastic

I only just started the game a few days ago and I’m already obsessed! I can’t stop playing it! It’s so addictive!

Rip off

As a proud capitalist I am often times defending unpopular things companies do. Sometimes at the cost of my own relationships. Because I believe in logic over emotion. I like markets they are not perfect but they serve the consumer more so than the company. In this case with this game, either I’m all the sudden broke (I’m not) or this game is a rip off in my opinion. Everything is expensive and keeps scaling hardware and harder so there is always more to buy. You can’t just build 1 dude and win the game. It forces you to play many dudes. You can easily spend 250 bucks on a single dude if you’re smart and know how they charge. I would encourage everyone not to do this. Even if you can you shouldn’t for the benefit of others. Season passes are 50 bucks a month…. As a gamer of 30 plus years that’s more money than any game I’ve ever played and I play Korean MMOs.

Response from developer

Thank you for taking your time of the day to leave us feedback. We're sorry to hear that you're finding the game too expensive. Our goal is to ensure all players can enjoy the core content without spending. Every month, there is an adventure mode where you can get a hero for free. However, in-game purchases help keep the game running and allow us to continuously improve your experience. Wish you a good day ahead!

This game isn’t free

This game is fun. Gameplay holds your attention and you can progress and level up your characters.

That said though, you’ll quickly realize you’re spending more time watching ads to optimize your upgrades than you are playing the game. You can buy the $20 option to remove these (do this).

Downstream there is no balance been paying vs free players. There is a chasm in terms of what’s available, unlocking them with time will likely take years.

You might say- “But you don’t need to pay to play!”. You’re watching ads, you are the product, and you’re paying with your time.

Outside of the runs there is a forge so you can enhance and add new capabilities to the weapons. You can get these for free, but it is a glacial pace. VERY disappointed with how slow this is. I’ve not unlocked even one yet. You need 5 unlocks to use your character’s weapon ultimate. I only know the first unlock takes months of playing to maybe get or $50.

Special event characters are similar, if they’re in adventure mode you can get them for free but special events are pay to acquire.

This balance will not change, it’s strategically set up to drive big spenders. Giving more available for free the developer would jeopardize their base. That said though, they’re probably foregoing greater revenue because engagement likely falls off for these other players with time, and their time/spend goes with them.

False advertisement I’m deleting the game now

Why?

Mega pay to win

You have to ram money into this game to get remotely far or decent heroes, the game it self is fine and fun to play but is spoiled by mega over priced things to get heroes and certain things and the adventure mode is near enough impossible to get the adventure hero never mind completing the seasons adventure. Everything is too over priced and I do not agree with having to pay to get certain heroes on a game based on the characters you can play as and using the same character is very boring

Simple and Fun

This game is amazing and fun. The ability to purchase ad free is amazing. Game changing. The ability to grow and get stronger as you progress just makes it addictive and fun.
My only complaint is that I wish they would give us other ways of getting characters like the older ones let us buy with coins, especially now that there’s 32 characters and you can really only get 9 of them progressing through the game I understand not giving us event ones or newer ones unless we earn them or pay for them, but some of the old characters should be turned over to purchase by coins

it would only benefit the developer with us being able to get more characters we would dedicate more time to the game trying to build them up and those people who can’t wait would spend more unless you want to just play the game

Pay to win?!?

Great game but starting to get into the pay to win aspects of the game in most of the events you’d have to pay money to insure you get certain characters, packages to make stuff easier are becoming a bigger thing and far to many hero’s coming out making it harder to get unlockables for older hero’s, it’s sucky to see this starting to happen as one of the players who played when the game first came out. I could proudly say most of my guild was from the start of the game unfortunately most of them have decided not to log on anymore due to how much pay to win has become part of it. Mind you that 90% of it can be done not paying but it’s become grind like a job type of thing… I don’t know about some of the other people playing but me and most of my guild agree that we can’t maintain the hours of play required to progress along with manage jobs and other important aspects of our irl. Please try and find ways to patch some of the aspects that kill the fun of this game. New hero’s get added so frequently can’t earn anything for the older ones really. Perhaps implement system that won’t allow you to get fragments for hero’s that aren’t earned already.
