1611 type
Actually the original 1611 was in Gothic Blackletter type in the first edition then the switch was made to Roman type. The former translations and English writings in general were already in Roman type before 1611. I have a KJV blackletter edition and read it through a few times which I thought was an amazing and fun challenge as a reader. A great experience. I went back to Roman type eventually.

Life Changing!
I take this Bible like medicine- reading it out loud every day. Its effects are miraculous and life changing. I read it out loud because of Dr. Mike Murdock’s instruction because “Faith Cometh By Hearing and Hearing By The Word Of God.” I am building my faith with this Bible.
Too Many Advertisements
This app has internal advertisements everywhere you look when attempting to read scripture. It’s ridiculous. Then there is an advertisement for a Bible game in the application that leads/ entices you to gamble! Wow! Diabolical! Horrible application to read the Bible!

Wonderful Bible app. I use it daily along with other versions to get the most accurate interpretation of the scriptures. This version of the Bible has everything included even the lost books left out of the Canon. I recommend this app to all believers.
History of the KJV
The KJV is according original King James Bible that was published in the year 1611. The problem is that the European church had already taken some liberties with Scripture and had made a few changes to reflect what they wanted to say. Two of those changes were made in the Book of Job. At Job chapter 24 verse 1 in today’s King James Version of the Holy Bible it says: “Why, seeing times are not hidden from the Almighty, do they that know him not see his dayes?” A couple of commas were left out that changed the meaning of that passage from those that do not know God to those that do know God. Here is the original passage from the 1611 King James Version of the Holy Bible: “Why, seeing Times are not hidden from the Almightie, doe they, that know him not, see his dayes?” There is a vast difference between knowing and not knowing God!
