Lacks basic functionality and feels opaque and insecure

They seem to invest more in their brand than actual functionality. After leaving my previous job, I have been unable to get a new login using my personal email. Instead, they send me a magic link that lasts for months. This is a security risk, because anyone who can access my email would be able to login to Forma and drain my account.

Meanwhile, the process for selling investments is labeled very poorly as “withdraw”. By the literal meaning, this would have unwanted tax consequences. Completing this process was needlessly stressful and time consuming because the interface doesn’t inspire trust.

Not what you want from a financial service provider.

Don’t be fooled by the flashy brand and design. The product and company are immature and not worth the hassle. Just use a real bank.

Merchant Availability

There should be automated updates of adding Merchants. If Forma card work in-store for a retailer in a certain location and I go to a different location but it’s the same retailer, that indeed should be auto-updated. Also, if a retailer is partnered with your workplace and you’re able to use the card on the workplace platform to place orders, we should automatically be able to use the card in-store for that same retailer AND location. Regarding other benefits such as phone bill pay, we should be able to automatically use the card for online bill pay without having to submit reimbursements and wait 2 - 3 weeks to balance out (next pay period). Customer service is not on the same page. I reached out to have a Walmart approved one time, the next time the specialist said it isn’t possible and it’s not supported by Forma?? And to end the chat is also horrible. So maybe a follow up knowledge base process for all specialists is needed again. Thanks.

Company switched 1/2 through year | Debit card didn’t work

Update: they lost their banking status or something and my company had to switch providers mid way through the year. Pretty inconvenient for such a simple thing.

Activated the card, Tried to use it like other HSA cards on medical purchases and it didn’t work. Reached out to the company and they put me in touch with a bot..:. It’s not that hard guys fidelity can do it

Imagine a world where Forma stays logged in

Can’t rate above 1 star until the app allows me to stay logged in.
Having to request a link every time I need to use the app is baffling UX

Good, but no way to stay logged in?

As the title states, the app is “good”, but there’s no way to stay signed in.

Keeps asking for receipts when using card

They keep asking me for receipts a week after using my card at CVS pharmacy. Never had this problem with any of the older “legacy” FSA administrators. The app is prettier but I’ve never had to use any FSA apps because the card just worked. Now I have to use this app and scramble to find old receipts every single time I use the card. AND it signs out after a day.

I like it!

The Forma app is fairly easy to use and upload receipts. The only drawback is it kicks you out from time to time and you have to reauthenticate everything. Other than that, it’s great!

SVP, Rewards and Benefits

We rolled out Forma last year 2022. Part of our due diligence was looking for a digital experience for our employees. Forma’s mobile app was far superior from any other one we looked at. So user friendly, great UI, and easy to use. We can not say enough great things. I look for utilization as a metric and right now we have 92% of our workforce using their app and we have 15,500 employees.

Perfect App!

So easy to navigate around which makes a refreshing change!

Pretty user friendly

The only reason I’m not giving it 5 stars is because some of the options I feel are not as inclusive for what your claim / purchase should fall under. However, the app is way user friendly and very easy to submit claims and check status of pending claims.
