  • Great idea

I signed up for the auto download a few months back as the concept sounded great. I have to say, for an initial app release it works pretty well and integrated seamlessly with my Robinhood account. I expect the potential tracking options will increase as the app matures but there is a decent selection already. The price of recurring trade following was not disclosed upfront and the monthly cost really doesn’t make much sense with smaller sums in your investment account so it’s definitely a specific market. For the amount that I decided to trust to the algorithm, I feel it’s a good deal as long as the returns are there.
Overall really great initial release on a really cool concept!
  • Costs $10/mo

The app is good but it forces you to make the investment (min $550) before it discloses prices to continue to match the person you’re following over time. It’s $10/mo. This means you have to be investing a sizable amount in this app for the monthly fee to be worthwhile. If you’re planning on doing this with $1000 or less, don’t bother. Super shady that they don’t list the subscription price until you buy stocks. Also it somehow doesn’t go through the App Store in app purchases. It goes though custom credit card processing.

    Developer Response

Hey Jamie! Apologies for this! We do understand the frustration here which is why in our newest update we switched up the order here to bring more transparency to the pricing. Sorry again for this and if you have any further questions please email me at chris@joinautopilot.com
  • Investing made smart!

I recently had the opportunity to try out Autopilot, and I have to say, I was thoroughly impressed with the features and functionality it offered.

First and foremost it is incredibly user-friendly. The interface is intuitive and easy to navigate, making it simple for users of all experience levels to find their way around. It offers a variety of tools and resources that are useful for both novice and experienced investors.

Overall, I would highly recommend Autopilot to anyone looking for a comprehensive and user-friendly investing and financial application. Its robust features and personalized recommendations make it a valuable tool for investors of all levels, and its educational resources help users to continue learning and growing their financial knowledge!
  • Great concept - not fee transparent

I like the idea. I like the structure from a security perspective (they hold no money, just execute trades based on secure tokens from your brokerage house).
What I don’t like is that they will let you buy into an “autopilot” but not tel you until after you have had the system accept your trades that it will cost you $10 a month to continue being “autopiloted” by the person or fund you have chosen to follow.
I don’t mind paying for a service, I just wish that the fee info was transparent. Less transparency = less trust.
  • Honest Initial Review

I signed up for the automatic download a few months in advance due to enjoying their Twitter page and thinking “Wow: that’s actually a cool idea!” I was really excited when the app first downloaded. Went in, set up my account…BAM: “You need at least $500 in your account to use”. Oh noes! While my account has several thousands in it, it only had like $60 in buying power. So over a little bit of time, I traded off some losing stocks until my buying power was around $600. Went back to the account, set up my pilot, it went to work…BAM: subscription fee to continue use. !!! “…I can’t really afford that right now…”.

I’m not very wealthy at all. My stock portfolio is from YEARS of adding money and making little trades here and there. My monthly income is tight (especially in this economy). While I figured there would probably be a fee, I thought that 1) it would be disclosed much sooner than it was and 2) it would be more in line with the value of the stock trades. For someone with a lower amount in their account, I would have figured it would have been either a lower cost (because the algorithm probably won’t make many trades with smaller accounts) or even some sort of merit system (like billed a certain percentage based on gains). While I think the app is nice and I had no issues with the use, I’m just let down that I won’t be able to use it to its full advantage until I basically find a better paying job.
  • Awesome app

Great app with some great fundamental features that can only get better.

This is ideal for someone who’s into stock trading and just needs a bump in the right direction or is curious what the top investors are investing in.
  • Changed star

After a few email exchanges(response was quick) I’m really falling in love with this app. I’m winning in the market and transactions happen extremely fast. Only reason it’s not a 5⭐️ is because of longevity, only been at it for a week.
  • I’m bummed

I have no experience on trading stocks so I was interested when I saw this. I download Robinhood made an account then when I try to set it up with auto pilot it says it needs put to put up $500 to use the app. I have never done done anything with stocks so I don’t want to put up more then $50-$100 so I won’t be using this unless they change it.
  • Good start but limited

It’s a good start for following trades by politicians and others. It’s very limited on features. I’d like to have the ability of adding multiple broker accounts, more trades to follow
  • Easy way to trade

Love the autopilot app! Allows me to easily follow others trades with no extra work.
