Gave number to scammers!!
Like many people I did not appreciate this annoying layer of complexity since it seemed unnecessary and I was not warned before purchasing that the tickets would be on an app. I don’t get many scam calls/texts usually yet the day I put my number on this app I immediately got a couple of phone calls and 4 text messages with “dad I broke my phone”! This is disgusting that they force a phone number to be given and it goes straight to scammers🤬

Works great
Not sure what all the negative reviews are about. Worked great for me. Transferred tickets to friends easily. Couldn’t fault the app. Better than most other venues!
Terrible Privacy
Can not transfer ticket without giving full access to the address book. Why does a ticketing app need full access to address book when you only need one e-mail to send the ticket.
Just Awful
Silverstone doesn’t need all of my contact details in order to allow me access to the circuit. I don’t think whoever put this together understands data regulations. To make it worse, the app doesn’t allow autofill so I suspect Silverstone will end up with lots of mistakes and nonsense. Exactly what was wrong with a PDF ticket? One of my group doesn’t have a smart phone so I’m not sure how they will access the site. Just when the staff on the gates seemed to be pleasant human beings for the first time in years, Silverstone screws this up.

I’d give zero stars if possible
Congratulations Silverstone you’ve added layers of complexity to a problem that didn’t exist! Just email us a pdf we can print and you can scan on entry ffs. We are competing at silverstone and get allocated tickets for friends and family. Usually my parents, who are in their eighties might come to a silverstone race as it’s not too far for them to travel. They won’t be coming now as they don’t have a smart phone or a tablet. This system is going to put so many people off visiting the circuit. The fact that you can’t print the tickets off is utterly ridiculous and why oh why do you need the date of birth and address of anyone who I might invite to come along? Forget zero stars I’d give it minus stars if I could.

No Smartphone No Entry!
I do not own a smartphone but apparently you cannot attend now unless you do, it’s been suggested I should take my iPad then leave in the car 🙄 Next they will be telling me they don’t take liability for your car and possessions 🤨
First thing the app asked for was access to my contacts list, anyone who thinks apps are the way forward are either dumb or naive.
I will be attending this event for the very last time and any other event held at Silverstone as they do not give refunds for not having a smartphone.

Awesome App
No idea why everyone is whining! Quick to register, easy to use, and they want no more info than any other app! There are age restrictions in the venue and different prices so of course they want that. Same as any where else! Wind your necks in and bring on ID Cards.
You don’t have to get the app to get your tickets. Please read...
Once tickets have been purchased just login to your account (on the Silverstone website)and go to ‘my account’. Click ‘see details’ on your booking and it will give you a print option. Click print and it will download a pdf which you can download or print.
No app required. F the app. It’s nonsense. Please continue to voice your opinion of the app as Silverstone need the feedback.
Hope this helps.

Complicated and asks for too much personal info
Why do they need so much personal information for this app if they are not going to send marketing trash.I’m going to a festival not a security conference. So far 5 corporate global companies have been hacked and lost all of my personal data so I really object to being forced to provide my details. Also the lead ticket holder had to send out four tickets each for the four days were were attending, that is 40 emails the 10 of us. What !!!!! Why not just send one ticket for 4 days.

If I could give less stars I would
I don’t understand why Silverstone is forcing us to download an app to access tickets. I understand Silverstone doesn’t want us to print them but all previous years we were emailed them/ logged onto our account online and showed the staff the barcodes on our phone. You can’t even access the tickets from your account online, you have to make a whole new account in the app. I hope the reviews on the app make Silverstone reconsider and take into consideration that many older people who don’t have smart phones attend these events.
