Great

Move here after Reeder went in the wrong direction. This is very nice.

Good, but hoping for iCloud sync

This is a good RSS app with lots of options. Iโ€™m hoping that iCloud syncing of local accounts is still planned.

Version 3.1.10: OK reader app and how to make it better

NOTE: This review is about the free version.

PROS:
Support for dark mode, which is easier on the eyes.

Regular updates to squash bugs and improve the app.

HOW TO MAKE IT BETTER:
Allow us to import our feeds from another reader without upgrading to Premium - I ainโ€™t importing all my feeds manually.

If you want us to pay for Premium, it would help if the app showed us the prices.

CONCLUSION: An OK app, with plenty of room for improvement - 3 stars.

Rough on the edges

Tried this app for a week as I'm looking to replace Reeder which seems to be abandoned. Unfortunately, while this app has more features, it's quite unpolished. Built-in RSS sync via iCloud is promised in some future versions, but currently missing. Also it lacks little things like unannoying animations, quick article opening in Safari, zooming, image previews.

Good native RSS reader in an overcrowded market.

Good for what it does but nothing to separate it from the competition. I was hoping that it would have an integrated read it later section and option to highlight and annotate text. Unfortunately it only allows you to link to external read it later services to send articles there. I'll have to go back to electron web apps that offer more features like built in annotation, newsletter management and even podcast playing.

Wallabag sync broken

The app looks clean and powerful, and I was looking forward to subscribing to add more accounts. However, the first service I tried (Wallabag) got hung up almost immediately with a sync error.

If I receive a reply from the devs and manage to get it working, I'll revisit, but for now it seems like sync, the most fundamental feature, doesn't work right ๐Ÿ˜ญ

Lot of potential but not quite ready to replace the alternatives

I tried this app out for the free trial period and overall it has a lot going for it. There is much in the design that is reminiscent of Reeder, but is missing some of the design language that I've grown accustomed to. That alone isn't a deal-breaker, this app should be allowed to succeed on its own merits, but where it really falls short is in the basic expectations of a reader. For one, despite choosing background refresh, this app never picked up updates from my miniflux server. I always had to manually refresh to see what's new in my rss feeds. It also lacks some of the integrations that I would expect for it's read later service like being able to tag links that I share with it. Overall it seems like this app could be something great, but not until some of these major issues are addressed.

High hopes

But lacking visually. Not sure why these readers have limits on image sizes or other issues where half the thumbnails donโ€™t show up in the article list.

You had everything I needed including actually opening the Twitter app and not the website.

No iCloud support

Been looking at alternatives to Reeder. I thought Readkit was a worthy competitor other than the fact that it has no iCloud support. This app needs iCloud support.

Best RSS App in the App Store

This is the one to get hands down! The clean interface, customization, and reading options are unmatched. The integration with all the popular rss and โ€œread it laterโ€ services is great. Donโ€™t think twice on this one. Itโ€™s worth every penny.
