I went to Google where I number was there for Apple support and I called and the dude I talked to was very convincing that he’d send me my money back if my bank account had $500 in it. He had me download this app. Seemed so legit at first, then when I said that I looked the number up & saw scam. I deleted the app and blocked the number right away and reported the number. I work in IT and use this constantly to help my colleagues, not to mention being support for friends and my family.
This app is indispensable to provide help when you can actually see what the person you’re trying to help is actually seeing.
For those complaining about getting scammed, I recommend using common sense. If you need support from Apple, look at their website for contact information, not Google or any other site. If someone calls you about a “problem” you’re having-hang up. No tech company is going to call you-they don’t work that way.Show lessjaduke
watch out for scams!!
i called what i thought was apple support because of a balance i thought was incorrect. the person was very convincing at first, then told me to go into settings in the “language & region” section. he proceeded to tell me that i was charged $12k because of bitcoin and that he would “get the money returned to me.” do not believe them when they say this!! it’s just an example of what your formatting looks like! he then tells me download this app so i could show him my screen, then to go to my apple id account to show my personal information. he randomly asks “how old are you?” even though my age had nothing to do with the problem i was having. thankfully i caught on, ended the screen share and hung up immediately. i blocked the number as well. make sure you go to the actual apple website to reach apple!! this caused me to spend the rest of the day making sure all of my information was secure.Show lessdon’t trust anyone!!
Indian Scammers call you and ask you to download this app
When I receive the phone call, I am 100% sure they are Indian. They have all you information, (your name, phone number, address…..)Don’t follow them and don’t listen to them, it is scammer. They want to control your phone.

I called apple about my phone yesterday and me thinking I was on the phone with apple it was scammers. They remote into my phone with some recoding device and told me to download this app. I was lucky after being on the phone with them and they tried to get me to send money to them. They tried to convince me. Luckily my bank detected fraud

You get men in India frantically trying to direct you to show them your bank accounts and private information, so they can drain your accounts. They wanted such inappropriate information. Apple confirmed they are a scam operation. When you question them they get pathetic and more insistent to see your data. “ Broadcast to us! “ They just need you to broadcast for them. They try to brow beat you if you question why they are trying to get personal information. This is fake and crazy. Wow.

This app is pretty much a scam itself. I was told to download this and I have to deactivate my cash app card because I was being screen recorded for my information. This app scammed my mother and had her call me and tried to persuade me to add $300 to my apple pay to send to her when in reality they were going to use the money, but I should have known better because Apple automatically can see your screen without downloading an app. You just have to accept their request of permission, Ive done it before so that’s how I know. Scammers use this to get into your phone to take $ from your Apple, Venmo & cash apps. They will ask you for a person to be a 2nd verification and the scam will pass along to them. If you are asked to download this app. Hang up immediately!!!ABW711

This app is being used to scam people. Fake Customer service numbers for reputable companies are snagging people, then using this app to record your screen. I tried to get a return label and somehow was charged $500 for Apple gift cards. Thankfully I was able to shut down the transactions and have notified my bank and credit card companies. Developers: you know this is being used to scam people. Ethically you bear some of the responsibility. I may have gotten my money back but I lost 2+ hours trying to stop the scam.Show lessCMGC53
