App is ok - could be better
Driving in truck mode isn't intuitive. Interface has a disc that you run your finger over and implies you can turn at any angle, but in fact you can only go straight, turn left or right. If you move your finger too far left or right on the dixc you get an error noise. Why not have buttons instead of an analogue control that isn't actually analogue.Show lessBunglin
Turn around transform
Some improvements needed sure, but overall liking the app. One thing I would like to see is the ability to have him set to turn around after transforming like the flagship can do.Problem with multi player
Optimus Prime Elite
Thank you Hasbro and Robosen first off. Very well done. Overall a super cool and fantastic robot and app. I think the app needs some updates. Meaning that the control of OP in remote settings mainly. Some minor tweaks and I believe the app will be top notch for the OPE Robosen Robot. As a fan of Transformers and now a huge fan of Robosen, thanks to Hasbro and the Hasbro team for trusting in Robosen to deliver and they did. Keep up the fantastic work Hasbro and Robosen and if there were more Transformer robots or extras to buy I would because I’ve already purchased everything Transformers that Robosen has. I recommend highly buying these robots so you can have the apps so you can operate your robot. Thanks again and please put the time in on the apps as the robots. Where are the promised action downloads ??
Manual says go to app to download additional actions such as “guitar pose” and it’s nowhere to be found. This is inexcusable!Jonbaby71
Virtual control stick needs improvement
Overall the app works pretty well and connects quickly to the Elite Optimus Prime. My biggest frustration comes from using the virtual control stick for both Robot and Vehicle modes. Transitioning from the forward action to a diagonal action is very very inconsistent. For instance driving in truck mode and trying to turn will work sometimes but then most other times the truck stops and beeps the horn. It has such a narrow area where you have to hold you thumb to get this to work which is tough because most of the time you want to watch the robot move around not the screen! I’ve tried using an iPad and its bigger screen helps a bit but still seems too fussy overall. Makes playing with Optimus in remote control mode less fun overall. Hope this input mechanism can be improved in a future update. It’s an absolutely amazing toy with just a mediocre app.Show lesspeppez
