  • NEW APP

    I can’t believe your team thought this updated App is user friendly.
    At least the legacy App showed all the zones on a cell phone without having to scroll down to access more zones.
    The legacy app was user friendly and at one glance you could tell which zone was running.
    Someone from your team told me they were glitches in the legacy app, but this update is AWFUL!!!

  • Great App

    This app took a little bit to understand all the functions but after the learning curve it really is a nice all. Hunter Hydrawise sure makes my life easier
  • Excellent app Predictive watering

    Hi,
    The app works great for me I used the older version of the app this newer version is much cleaner looking and follows more of the iPhone selection process.
    It would help alot if the option Don't water if 80% chance of rain is configurable instead of just on or off. Having the choice to select 60 or 70 % as an example of choices would help maybe even a slide bar where the user can pick the percentage.
    Where I live there are many times where the chance of rain is 60% and it does rain. As an example so having a slider to change the percentage number will give the user more flexibility.

  • App developers need help

    I don’t say this with sarcasm or the intent to harm someone’s job, but this iOS app is the worst app I have ever interacted with. It’s worse than government apps, and if you’re a veteran, you know that’s bad. I would highly recommend paying some more experienced iOS developers to save this app. I can’t even use the setup “wizard” as it just spazzes out and the screen glitches constantly. I wonder how many people have returned their hunter wands because of this app breaking bug that exists in your app…

    Really appreciate Hunter‘s tech support. Those guys are very helpful. Not in a rush walk you through the entire system and give you their best advice. Really appreciate that. Helps my installation and jobs. Much easier there when you need them.

  • Unable to complete setup

    I have the serial number for my new controller and it has been added to my WiFi, but I am unable to complete the setup because the setup wizards flashes back and forth every half second between two screens when I start it. I just downloaded the latest version. Am I doing something wrong?

  • Overall decent:

    Update: I just figured out in the app how I can change the setpoint triggers for the weather shut off. Seeing how much can be customized in this app makes me realize how nice it really is. pretty cool app and overall very functional. 5 stars

    Just installed this system and first time using it. Overall decent but why is the cutoff temperature for suspending watering set at forecasting below 68 degrees Fahrenheit? Where I live, it can be 60 at night and 90 during the day and NEED water. This suspends watering when it’s still way above freezing. The cutoff temperature should be the same as freeze sensors right around 38 degrees. Please update this.

    Hi 385531299432, thanks for you rating and comments. We're glad you love the App. The Suspend watering trigger is based on the forecast Maximum temperature of the day not the minimum.
  • Best yard purchase upgrade

    This has made life much easier test and operating our home watering system. The app is user friendly and it’s easy to set up right out of the box. The features within the app allows you to set weather parameters and customize each zone according to your landscape features and needs. Not sure why it took me so long to buy this relatively cheap upgrade to our X2, but sure glad I did.

  • Horrible

    App is fine for basic users who set it up and forget it, but as a irrigation technician it is a nightmare to use. One of the most important features the Zone tester is absolute garbage. It randomly switches all over the place and makes starting up a system take 3 times longer. You took one of the greatest things in irrigation, the old Hydrawise app, and turned it to garbage which is truly impressive! Needs fixed and more rigorous testing by your customers who use it every day for a living. Between that, taking the old app down and seeming to put something on the old app that kills my phone battery now you have a very frustrated irrigation installation company.
