DThe app is a welcomed improvement from the website which was always frustrating to deal with. Unfortunately, some people are not getting getting ready to go of those same frustrations carried over and need to be improved.
Start with some of the areas already improved:
1) currency improvement which allows you to select a region and corresponding currency across every possible region.
2) slightly faster engine
3) stand alone store so you don’t have those issues with going to pages you don’t want
Areas to improve:
1) there is still a lot of lag and issues loading and timing out. I got logged out still multiple times, though it was easier to get back in than when utilizing the website.
2) search engine issues where I was able to find some items while looking at all (I.e., several adult, youth and baby swimsuits) but when searching for just “swimsuits” only 5 items returned when there should have been many more options.
3) ability to utilize multiple filters to better refine results including being able to pre-select sizes for apparel and “only show in stock” merchandise filter for those pre-selected sizes.
4) issues with applying membership discount, it would not apply my discount despite the fact my membership package has it and I used it on the website prior to new app.
5) didn’t have option to store payment information that I was able to locate. Should be present and easy to find/use.
6) when checking out, there is the area to add coupon codes and membership discount, but you can not see the if the discount took effect or what the new total will be until after you finish payment. This information should always be made available PRIOR to completing payment. This ensures we can make corrections if needed and ensure we are good with the final tally.
