So far I am very impressed with your site. I am a Canadien living in Quebec. I am annoyed that it’s primarily American centric. An example is: The ‘California Black Trumpet’. We have Black Trumpets, people all over the world are looking at your site, why would you name them Californian? Still giving five stars .but only spend 15 minutes So far and will buy one year membership.
Not impressed your identification of mushroom with camera is not accurate i can’t trust it .
Tested on mushrooms I know didn’t identify properly.Show lessantindann

Great quick take to narrow down mushroom ID. This has about an 80% accuracy rate, which is pretty darn good for an app; good enough to send me to the right place in my references. As we know, NEVER assume any app is correct; always check with reliable sources, do a spore print, and all the other things before making a positive ID.
Question for developer: Will you consider allowing Family Sharing for this app? I want to educate my family about these wonderful gifts from Gaia and their having the app via Family Sharing would help tremendously. Thanks.Show lessC of H

Got 6-7 different results for the very same mushroom! How is that helpful at all? How would that ensure someone doesn’t eat a poison mushroom? What a complete waste of money. Got the app, got the crazy mixed results mentioned above and then cancelled app within 30 minutes. Asked for a refund and was ignored.
Update: Months later, I got a “response”, offering me an opportunity to change my review, but no offer for a refund. I stand by my one star review.Show lessJlabounty

Bought a one year subscription to June 2015 and it worked fine until I opted to not renew my subscription in order to avoid automatic renewal. I’ve been getting a “we are updating our server try again on 5-10 minutes” message since the beginning of August. Complete rip off420bigd

the map thing that shows you different mushrooms nearby seems decent, can’t confirm cuz im not driving like an hour to see if there’s mushrooms there. if u wanna identify what mushrooms you’ve found you need to pay and that’s all I downloaded the app for. wouldn’t recommendMjh6n

Have to be in cell service range. Colorado doesn’t have remote services. I am sticking to identification books for now.wmpier

this app requires an expensive subscription to use. moreover, it claims to be able to identify fungi down to the genus level from mere fragments of a cap, or not-very-good biro drawings, which makes me skepticalJkyCosten
