I took a picture of the mushroom. I got a result. It didn’t look like the photo and the information provided was very difficult to sift through. I figured it out myself on Google by searching images of common mushrooms in my area.WestchesterWoman

This app can identify correctly SOMETIMES. It seems the app mostly run on guest work and normally it will just tell you the general family belong to it’s almost never specific and when it is specific it is most definitely wrong. This app would be worth it even if it was free don’t even waste your time with the free trial. I downloaded it because I thought the idea of technology identifying mushrooms is cool, however I have also spent time studying mushrooms myself and I am not mycologist but the app gets confused even by the simple types of mushrooms that even amateur enthusiasts can recognize with ease.Show less947731892

I needed a quick identification because i want my dogs to stay safe. Saw a mushroom that I couldn’t identify. The fact i have to pay monthly for a one time thing to make sure my pups are safe is outrageous.ExistingPerson26

Downloaded for curiousness while hiking. Nothing worked without paying. Options to choose from camera roll pretends to search for a match but the only match it brings up is for a subscription. Why label it as free in App Store when it’s not.WheelinRyan
