Update fixed purchase problems

Still not the most user friendly, but now I can use basic functions.

Awful

This app is awful because it will not allow me to purchase tickets with a debit or a credit card. I have a PayPal account as well, but for some reason I cannot pay with it. The app also says there is an option to pay as a guest, but that does not work either.

Garbage

They made the system from the old app a little shinier but more complicated. Then they ignored the good parts of the old app like the ability to see the full schedule at a particular station (unless that’s hidden somewhere, in which case this is one of many examples of how unintuitive the app is to users). The most annoying thing? It will log you out for no reason and make you log in again via a browser. You will not know this, of course, until you are in a pinch and then either miss a train or risk riding without a fare because of the stupid app. Of course, they don’t care that their app is garbage or, on a wider scale, that enforcement of their fares is somehow nonnegotiable and also inconsistently enforced. We need the €49 ticket already so we can be free from RMV’s terrible ticketing and app and just be stuck with their terrible punctuality.

Does not work

I had the original app which worked fine. I was able to purchase tickets easily before. Not now. Once this new app came out, nothing works properly. Every time I try to purchase a ticket it gives me an “error” message. Tried to re-register and still giving me an error message.

Unübersichtliches Layout

Sehe keinen Fortschritt zur bisherigen App, im Gegenteil, es ist alles sehr unübersichtlich. Und dazu frisst die neue Version Speicherplatz (111 MB statt 20MB bei der alten RMVApp). Hallo? Auf einem Smartphone mit kleinem Bildschirm brauchen einfache Infos sehr viel Platz, daher ist der Kartenausschnitt dann winzig. Fehlte auch in der alten App: Bei der Übersicht der Verbindungen werden die Gleis-Nummern nicht angezeigt (dabei hätte es dort Platz für). Wenn man also schnell schauen muss welcher Zug vielleicht im FFM-Hbf noch erreicht werden kann, verliert man Zeit damit in jede Verbindung ei nzeln hinein zu schauen (und darf sich die Nummern merken während man rennt).

Doesn’t even work

I got signed up and registered to use it and every time I try to purchase a ticket I get an error saying “try again later” haven’t been able to use it since the app came out. Very dissatisfied

Absolutely awful

Requires you to register as a user to use, which is an incredibly clunky and difficult process. Registering requires a credit card, which I don’t really want to share, but then you can only buy tickets with PayPal in the app. Buying a ticket could be a quick process, but instead you have to enter user info, station info, and so on when this is typically erroneous for most trips. Worst of all, after registering, that app won’t even let me log in.
