Actual miracle app

I don’t really write reviews but this app is literally everything I have been looking for in a health app. Everything I need to track, all my health records - everything is all in one place. I was genuinely blown away by feature after feature, everything is so customizable and convenient, keeping track of all my different medical portals and trackers across different platforms has been so exhausting and this simplifies my whole life. Plus I am so grateful for how many features the free version offers, many of us with chronic illnesses or health conditions have such high living expenses for our health and so it’s so nice to have accessible options.

Good app but a little unintuitive

This is a great app but at times I do find it difficult to know how to use certain functionalities despite being a milennial

The best app!!

Guava is an incredible app! I have had it for 3 months and it has been life changing. It’s been a relief being able to track all aspects of my health in one spot. Prior to I was using multiple apps along with a hand written journal. Guava helps you track your symptoms, medication, medical appointments, lab results/test, menstrual cycle, diet, fitness, etc. all in one spot! This has made talking to my health team so much easier and has given me a greater sense of awareness of my condition. Through the medication and symptom tracking reminders, it’s been easier to stay consistent. In addition the insights the app pulls based on the data you have entered is super beneficial. Things like the weather or the amount I sleep and what that means for my pain - something I wouldn’t be able to track well on my own. I encourage individuals with a chronic illness or chronic pain to download this app and take some stress off of managing this all on your own!

Game Changer

I absolutely love this app! It is beautiful, easy to navigate and i can do all the things i want to in the free version (yay!). The only reason I haven’t gone with the premium version is that I am in Aus and there are a few features that don’t apply outside of the states. I would give it 5 stars but it does not have an Apple Watch app, would be so handy to log things from my watch, and also doesn’t have any widgets to see tracking or ‘quick add’. Would love to see these two features but otherwise an amazing app that really helps!!

Subscribed on day one

I just started using this app, partly because I've been trying apps like it for my stomach issues, but I recently broke out in hives which has never happened.

Searched the app store since I didn't currently have a tracking app and found this one.

After logging the last 3 days worth of hives into the symptom tracker, and browsing around the info I imported from my medical record, I subscribed on that first day.

Amazing features that are beautifully implemented and I can't WAIT to dive into correlations once I have more data logged.

Seems incredibly full featured, and I feel like some apps don't understand how I want to view my data and its patterns, but this app feels like they truly understand why I am tracking all this stuff and what info I want to get out of it.

I honestly never write app reviews, even if I hated an app, but this one just has me so excited that I have found such a useful app with an affordable subscription.

I really hate when devs make these sort of apps insanely and prohibitively expensive. It's like they act like they want to help people but then ask for $300 a year. But this app is very reasonably priced for all the features it offers.

Has Absolutely Everything (on the Free Version!)

I’ve been trying out different health trackers for a while, and they all have 1-2 things they excel at while everything else falls behind. I think Guava is finally what I’ve been looking for.

It connects to devices, Apple Health, and most of my patient portals. It tracks appointments, medications, symptoms (with body “heat maps”!) measurements, and more. It lets you add custom categories, entries, events, and more which is great for my weirder symptoms and specific triggers. It’s great for data nerds like me!

My favorite part is that everything you need is available with the free version! The premium subscription has some great features, but it’s mostly advanced insights and easier transfers from doctor’s notes. All the tracking and analysis features I need I can get for free.

My one request is that I wish it had more advanced analysis to do with length of symptoms. I have chronic headaches, and while there is a way to put a start and end time in my log, there’s not any good way to see what affects the length of my headaches (or the average length or anything like it). Regardless, Guava is a great app and I’m so glad I found it.

Beyond my expectations!

Just try it! You won’t regret it! This app is a miracle. Since I got sick it has been difficult to keep track of my symptoms, the many doctors I’ve seen and so on. I have notes and records everywhere which made tracking ultimately impossible. Not to mention if you use different doctors it makes using online portal tricky. I have tried numerous apps to help track and all have failed. Either they don’t do enough, charge for full usage, etc. So of course I was hesitant about Guava too. Once I tried it, I’ve never looked back. I currently use the free version. What they offer for free most apps make you pay. The premium option is very nice as well. I, myself since struggling for a diagnosis have so much medical history. With this I can easily look at a graph of the last several years. I can sort through certain tests, symptoms etc. This app offers what people need but they also go above and beyond. I’m so thankful this app exists

Biomarkers - latest record is not updating in heart health

Hi Devs
I uploaded my mother’s reports under biomarkers. Recently my mother got her blood work done for cholesterol and I uploaded that report under heart health.
What I noticed that new record is not updating in the heart health under biomarkers. it still shows previous record even though new record has been added there.

Response from developer

Sorry to hear you're having issues with getting biomarkers to show up from your uploaded documents. After uploading the document, you should see what was extracted by our record parser underneath, and you should be able to see the records on the Records page and Profile > Biomarkers. If a specific lab isn't detected from your report, you can also add them one-off by going to Profile > Biomarkers > +Add result. You can also reach out to our team directly by pressing "menu" > "Help & Feedback", and we can look more specifically into the issue you're facing.

Must get app if you have long term illnesses

The insights are amazing which helps you track issues etc haven’t used any other app in ages as this is such an amazing app

Really nice cross platform app

I enjoy this App and use it with a variety of devices. Not exactly user friendly interface, but with some time and patients, it'll work fine for you. The monthly subscription price is ridiculous. I'll quickly change programs for a similar app with no charge or reasonable one time purchase.

Response from developer

Hello! Glad you're enjoying Guava :) Regarding price, Guava may be significantly different than what you were expecting or comparing to. We have physical products in addition to software apps, and the Emergency Card is a major part of Premium. Guava isn't a cheap one-time use app like many things found on app stores, but rather a comprehensive application built for all platforms including desktop and websites. We actually try to give away a huge amount of functionality totally for free so that our base product is still more useful than most competitors. And if you combine all of the paid offerings from other companies that Guava has support for, it would total more than $100 per month. This is why many of our users were able to cut out 5-10 apps after switching to Guava, sometimes even without Premium. We would love to improve any part of the experience which made you feel it was low value, so feel free to send us specific feedback from the app and we'll look into it. Hope that helps!
