Money was taken for pro version

Money was taken for pro version from bank account, none of the Pro Features worked.

Since requested refund, just to save anybody unnecessary hassle and maybe chose app that will work with pro features once deductions made.

Response from developer

Hi there, If you did purchase the additional in-app purchase Pro Version of the ReeXpose then you should have access to those features in the Settings/Advanced Capture Options. As we clearly highlight in ReeXpose's listing here on the App Store, those Pro Features (Pro Version of ReeXpose) are an additional in-app purchase payment, which is on top of the cost for the basic version of the app you download. You're most probably confusing the Bundle pack of the two apps with the Pro Version of ReeXpose which remains an additional in-app purchase despite you've purchased both apps via the bundle product. Appreciate if you could reconsider your 2-stars review since this is most probably due to your misinformation / misunderstanding of clear information we provide to all our users, and does not represent the unique tools and the quality of ReeXpose. For further questions/feedback, please reach out to us directly at: support@reeflexstore.com We’ll be more than happy to support you further. Thank you. Unauthorized Purchase went though!

The app looks great, downloaded it a week ago or so, and now, Friday the 31st, a purchase goes through. I didn’t authorize this, and I see no where a trial period. You are supposed to use it AND IF you want the pro version, then okay.
Asking Apple for a refund.
BEWARE.

Response from developer

Hi there, If a payment went through then it went through because you did approve it. We developers have no means to request or accept payments, as this is all managed in the backend by the App Store. Most probably you did go and purchased the Pro Features of the app, which are accessible in the Settings/Advanced Capture Options, without noticing or else some glitch in the App Store might have happened here - but again, we developers have no influence/control on the payment method nor the payment acquisition. For that, you’ll need to review directly with the Apple’s customer support and not us. Moreover, as we clearly highlight in ReeXpose's listing here on the App Store, those Pro Features are an additional in-app purchase payment, which is on top of the cost for the basic version of the app. If you're not aware of what you're purchasing then that's your issue unfortunately. Please read through the information we provide before taking any decision and then having to blame us for any misinformation. A 1-star review is simply doing us damage and demolishing the years of significant work which our small team has put on to build our apps. Hope you can understand and reconsider your review. Excellent Customer Service

A few of us downloaded this app and had an orientation issue where when shooting in landscape mode the preview would revert to portrait mode. I mentioned this and got an immediate response. Apparently an issue caused by the lates iOS upgrade. They contacted Apple and came up with an immediate resolution. That is superb customer service. And now the app works great. Thank you.

Bought by mistake

I selected the wrong app. I wanted the Reflex app instead. How do I get a refund to purchase the other?

Response from developer

Hi Larry, As mentioned in the email exchange we had, if you feel like you need a refund, you can do so following the standard procedure given by Apple. See the link here below: https://support.apple.com/en-us/HT204084 We would appreciate you removing the review as this is not referring to the qualities of the app itself and only damages the visibility of our ReeXpose app. Thanks for your understanding and collaboration. Unable to focus on anything close

The app refuses to focus on anything close.

Great app

Great app , will use a lot. Great team also , did not understand a couple of things emailed them , they emailed me straight back with answers , turns out the issues were with my phone not the app but they sorted it out anyway. Love it would recommend

Great UI and great results

The Reeflex team has created an app that is very user-friendly and produces excellent long exposure images.

The team is incredibly responsive to support requests, and their replies are thoughtful and detailed. They obviously place a high priority on customer service.

I purchased the Pro version because the base version of the app was so good. The value I get from it is well beyond the modest asking price. And no subscription is required, which is a blessing these days!

Easy five stars.

Over exposed

All my pictures end up being over exposed both in manual or automatic mode with iPhone 14 pro What i see is not what I get, so I need to go to manual settings, make it few stop darker than what I want and take a photo, then the exposure will be ok, but it’s a hit and miss each time. I hope they fix that issue.

Updated after the developer answered :
Being a professional photographer for 25 years now, I take mostly night shot for travel and architecture magazines, I know what RAW files are and your RAW files are awful, RAW filed are supposed to be very neutral, a little dull actually to allow processing, adding or recovering shadows, adjusting the light intensity accordingly to the shadows and recovering textures. Your RAW files and nothing of that, they are already processed and the contrast are clearly boosted quite a lot, the dark area are way too dark and the white are are all overblown which make it hard to get a balance in editing after as they go both way at same time. The iPhone 14 pro can produce RAW files by itself, easily editable after but when comparing their RAW files and YOUR RAW files it’s clear your are applying some processing to it to make it pop, and they over processed, that's not the true nature of RAW files, they should be unprocessed, or at least the least possible to give us as much range to work with.

My plan was to use it for test shot on my phone to give an idea to my clients what it might look like before coming back and carrying lot of gear for the real shot, a but like photographer used Polaroid in the old tome of analog photography, but that app is useless for that. Luckily I’ve found something better.

Response from developer

** Updated - 2nd reply to 2nd user’s feedback ** Hi again, We just want to clarify that ReeXpose DOES NOT apply any processing to the RAW files, besides the frame averaging for the long exposure effect. The fact that you write that the iPhone 14 Pro can produce RAW files by itself using the native camera app makes me think your understanding is quite limited. The native camera app produces ProRAW files not Bayer RAW. ProRAW files are linear DNGs (not CFA) and contain tons of processing! This is why they look so natural to you. In case you would not believe in this, a basic google search can easily clarify your doubts. It is perfectly fine that you don’t like the app, but writing false statements is totally unfair. Lastly, you might want to consider watching this YouTube video, as that clearly explains the differences between RAW Bayer and ProRAW: https://youtu.be/K0Q5PFwECV4 Hopefully you will reconsider your comments and be humble enough to get some learning out of this. If you’d have further observations you are free to contact us via email at: support@reeflexstore.com Rest assured we’ll be there to provide further clarifications based on facts. Regards, Salvatore D. - Reeflex iOS Dev & Co-founder __________ ** 1st reply to 1st user’s feedback ** Hi, Thanks for your feedback. "What you see is not what you get" is the definition of RAW photography 😉 Bayer RAW files have a ton of dynamic range, however, a minimum of photo editing in post- production is most often necessary. Different case is for the elaborated outputs you would obtain when shooting in JPG/HEIF/ProRAW (available in our other app - Reeflex Pro Camera). That's the reason why RAW is more indicated for advanced photographers. In the future, we will work to include more advanced tools to guide the user towards selecting the best exposure, but for the time being you need to properly adjust ISO/SS manually and work with editing the photos you capture. Great app but..

Hello,

This app is great but is there going to be a focus feature soon? Like where you can tap on the screen to focus or lock focus ?

Response from developer

Hi there, There’s currently no auto tap-to-focus function in ReeXpose, however we will be implementing this in of our next releases. We already have a working beta version for that. For the time being you can easily adjust focus manually and get help using the magnifier function, which is very helpful and much more precise than the tap-to-focus function. Hope that clarifies - if you do have further inputs or questions, please reach out to us directly at: support@reeflexstore.com Thanks, REEFLEX team
