Super buggy

It’s been helpful for vocab expansion, but it doesn’t work consistently. There have been so many times the audio doesn’t work or the flash card timer breaks. And it’s hella expensive, and they don’t offer refunds, so there’s that.

I reported the bug a few weeks ago, no update from the company.

Thought I would get more from this app.

I am trying to learn Spanish to communicate with my Spanish speaking partner . We are finding that some words are not commonly used. I was looking for an app to help me form small sentences at the beginning move towards an intermediate level. I’m not sure if I am missing something?

I have stopped my learning because I do not feel engaged with this app.

Money grab

Forces you to pay to use the app so no free content.

Together with language schools from around the world, we are constantly working to increase the vocabulary in the application and to add new sections for study. Therefore, unfortunately, the costs of developing and promoting the application do not allow us to make it free.

Typical bait and switch ads

The advert for this app has nothing to do with how it actually functions. It’s a very basic language learning app which there are many much better functioning and features full learning apps that are much cheaper and perform as advertised.

Disappointed

Advert for the app is a feature the app doesn’t have (plays video in Spanish and shows the text in both English and Spanish) also the app is very slow, when you get a word correct it takes a second or two to move on to the next question which is painful enough to make you want to stop. Finally, you pick by topic, ie body parts, select 4 words and then learn those words. It immediately shows you other words, and asks you which one is the correct English translation. Well it’s not hard to remember the four words you just selected so it’s not really much of a challenge. App needs work, and I think it’s click bait with the advert soon as they don’t even have that feature

Alternatives to Bright
