  • I regret downloading

    I thought this would help my credit…. I changed my bank and updated my info in the fizz app one day after the payment submitted. (It hadn’t cleared yet apparently so my account was frozen) the one customer service person was extremely rude, told me my behavior would get me banned and that I wasn’t using the app correctly so that’s why I saw no results. I simply changed my bank and got a response like that. I’ve worked in business management for years and never have I blamed someone for taking a cash advance and said it was their fault they didn’t like the product. I did nothing but what the app said till I deleted. This is the WORST customer service I have ever witnessed. I asked for help then was blamed, then I asked to close my account and was told it was my fault that I didn’t like the app. Well Sam, I can’t use the app if my account is frozen can I? I had a non frozen account that I used to pay for small bills that were auto drafted out immediately. Then suddenly I changed banks and I’m a horrible person who has bad behavior and can’t use an app correctly. Absolute waste of my time. You’re better off getting a secured credit card or something

  • Great idea, but growing pains

    The premise of Fizz is a great one and by and large, it works as expected. However, it can be frustrating when dealing with an issue that requires customer support. Phone support is nearly non-existent and chat-based support is only available during certain times on weekdays. You are unable to un-freeze a card yourself (like suspicious transactions) and this can leave you without your card for days on end. When you do get in touch with someone, they’re great! But be aware that this card does not have the same service level you may expect from other cards. Seems like they are just scaling up too quickly.
  • Awesome Credit Card Alternative

    This card is awesome! I love that it’s linked to my debit card and so I never use my actual debit card. But what I love the most is that I use it to fill the gaps that my credit cards don’t fill. I have credit card for gas and one for shopping online. The fizz card I use for my grocery store shopping or occasional eating out. I love this card and its perks and the customer service is awesome if you ever have an issue. Highly highly recommend!

    I’ve been using Fizz for a while now, it has has greatly improved my credit score. This month I was experiencing some fraudulent purchases on my Fizz account, which the Fizz customer support team helped out tremendously by helping me dismiss the fraudulent purchases. They were very fast, understanding, respectful and willing to help me with the issue I was experiencing.
  • Fizz is Helpful and Personal

    I joined Fizz because I’ve followed Kyle Prue on TikTok for longer than he’s been promoting Fizz. I saw his commercials and then saw my credit score and said “hey, maybe that will help me”. I’ve had a couple instances where I’ve had to message for assistance, and that process is so easy and personal as well, actually texting with a real person who does everything they can to help and make sure that what they say is accurate. As recent as today, I messaged because I have a balance and my paycheck hasn’t come in as expected and I was stressed that my balance would negatively affect my credit and close my Fizz account. They were able to extend my deadline to accommodate me and they were so friendly and understanding about it. My credit score has improved since using Fizz, and I would give actual stats but I’ve also done other work so I can’t say it was all because of Fizz, but I’ve gained a significant amount of points. As someone who is in debt because of being a dumb kid and also because of debt that I couldn’t really avoid (medical bills sent to collections), it’s very helpful that I can only spend what I have, and that my own money is helping my credit.
  • Great credit card alternative

    First off, I'm a millennial who's no longer in school, so if you're hesitating on trying Fizz because you aren't a student, don't worry! The only effect that has is on your validation process - without a school email you have to upload identification, which I did and had manually verified within a few business days.

    I like that the app connects to an existing bank account (or credit union, in my case) and doesn't have the same strings attached that other similar cards do. The app also shows my Vantage score and I get email notifications when Fizz put through a daily payment. So far I like the way the spending limit works - it keeps me from making bigger purchases without stopping to consider whether I actually can, and should. However, it does make me wonder how quickly the app will update the limit relative to funds in my bank account; in the future when they're in my budget, I'd like to use the card for large purchases too. Maybe there's an answer to this concern somewhere in the FAQ, however I haven't yet seen it. Either way, I have enjoyed using Fizz so far and it's helping me make better financial decisions as a bonus!
  • NOT REAL RATING!

    I only gave it 5 stars so people would see this, overall it is an “alright” card. It does what it says to some degree. Anyone who tells you, it “won’t” let you over draft or effect your credit other than raise it is lying to you. If you don’t have enough money they will freeze your card. If owed money isn’t paid, they will send to credit and it will lower your score. It’s nice but it’s not everything everyone is promoting or probably the reason you came here. No over draft, only raises credit. DYOR

    I love this card so much! In two months my credit has gone up 70 points and any issues I’ve had have been addressed quickly and kindly. I recommend this card to everyone I know because it’s so easy to use and the app is super user friendly. I can’t recommend this card enough!
  • Great Card

    I’ve been using Fizz for a couple of months now, and I really like it. It’s a great card with all the perks of a credit card but it holds you accountable and helps you use credit cards responsibly. Fizz also has really great, and friendly, customer service. I had to contact them and Fizz was really helpful in resolving my problem. I highly recommend this card for students!
  • GET THIS APP!!!!

    Fizz has been absolutely amazing. Perfect card for college students!! Customer support is awesome, they just take a while to respond. My only issues are that I have had to reconnect my bank a few times and some purchases take up to 3-4 days to process, as well as “daily payments”, but that hasn’t really been an issue!
