  • It’s okay

    The app is okay. I just feel that it’s missing quite a few things that could make everyone’s jobs (and ordering, for customers) easier:
    -add the ability to see accumulated tips
    -add the ability for drivers to see delivery instructions in the app: gate codes, contactless, no doorbell, etc.
    -fix the issue where, when you tap the address to navigate, it will create a kind of slideshow to show you where to go, so you have to swipe for each direction. I’ve found that clicking end navigation and then start again will fix this, but if out-the-door time matters, the time to do this adds up on a busy day.
    -add the ability to contact your store with a one-click button
    -add the ability to message the customer through the app
    -add the ability to see how many orders are left to deliver from the store, so you know if you need to be quick to get into the store and out.
    -add the ability to see each order’s total, so you know for sure that they’ve been paid

    Quality of life additions and general functions of the app matters for drivers because you need to be quick. But using this app, there are many roadblocks to go around to be able to do your job effectively and efficiently. Personally, I’ve noticed that these (rather, the lack of these) really hold me back and increase the likelihood of mistakes made. I know that Marco’s is about making the customers happy, but it seems that some things are overlooked when it comes to employees. If you took the time to read this, thank you.

  • 0 STARS: only 1 function AND it fails at even that

    I thought the rated-3-star dominos delivery app was bad but this is worthless. - there are only 3 screenshots because that’s all there is… literally all it does is link an address to your phone from the store, that’s the entire app, nothing more… aside from wasted time and danger from trying to get it to stop crashing because apparently that simple task of linking an address which you can do faster with your eyeballs in person is too much for it. - maps app will become unusable after pressing the address and you have to close and reopen the maps app before it works, again it would’ve been faster to enter it in yourself on the maps app. - Crashes constantly - you don’t know if you’ve marked the delivery as delivered or not And it won’t let you press it before you get to the address which would be normal but it loses the delivery from your phone when you Are in range

  • It’s not great

    You can tell they rushed out the app because they had to get the system out on time. Very barebones basic. I’m atleast glad you can start navigating by pressing the directions button. But for some reason Apple Maps doesn’t like the address it gives so you have to close it out then re-navigate. And you can call the customer with the phone number button. Though one time there were 2 instances of the order on the app, and one of them had a slightly wrong phone number. Not sure what that bug was about.

    At least they made the dispatch tags better.

  • So many changes needed (or things missing)

    I’ve been delivering for Marco’s for 5 years using the last system/app, Foodtec. This app doesn’t have any of the features that made delivering so easy like Foodtec did. I’m pretty disappointed because this app should be ready to use smoothly before rolling out to so many stores.

    Some things that need to be added:
    - Ability to choose which app is used for navigating to deliveries (defaults to apple maps and no way to change)
    - Ability to click on an order and see more info like customer name, building name, detailed order info
    - After delivering all orders in a run, add a button that takes you back to the store from your current location (using the user’s preferred navigation app)
    - Also a button to call the store straight from the app
    - Ability to mark as delivered not exactly at the marked address, sometimes GPS doesn’t recognize the location correctly and I can’t mark as delivered until getting back to the store, causing false late deliveries
    - Ability to end run when getting back to the store
    - Mileage tracker
    - Dark mode would be a plus
    - Look into Foodtec, there were some fun trophies and stats you could look at such as amount of deliveries in a month, fastest deliveries, average percentage of tips

    There are definitely many more but just a few of these would help a lot. Please work on updating this app, I’m very surprised it’s only had one update since launching and that was a year ago.

  • This App Made Me Quit My Job

    I was an associate with Marcos for over a year, but when they introduced this app, my tip income decreased because the app doesn’t have a function for customers to add tips, the button to mark an order delivered doesn’t work, and every time I get a new delivery I have to log out, log in, click the address, cancel, because by default it gives the wrong address, then finally I get the correct directions for my delivery. It’s very frustrating going from a system that simply works, to one that doesn’t even correctly do it’s only core function. Also it has been months sense this change and I am yet to see an update. Utterly ridiculous.

    Please change this app by going back to the older system or the developers go look at the other system and make it some what like it customers are complaining every delivery I walk in a store wearing my uniform and people tell me they love the pizza but don’t order because of the app now we have lost customers also customers that I’ve seen buying our pizza for 2 yrs don’t anymore they won’t order any more because of the app there is a saying don’t fix what isn’t broken this app is broken it was fine before the zones where number you could tell so much easier where places where on the map idk if who made this app has ever delivered a pizza or delivered in the rain trying to get a signature on a wet paper also I feel like it’s definitely not helping the spread of germs having to had my clip board and pen to 15 different people a night I love working for Marcos I take pride in my job if I’m delivering or making the food I’m just begging to go back to driver Iq or make this app better please.

  • Absolutely horrible!!

    Everything about this app is a downgrade. There’s no more comment section for customers to put in gate codes to get into gated communities. There is no way for the customer to give us special instructions. The GPS is a serious step down from the previous app. I have been a delivery driver for over a year, and very rarely had a late delivery and now almost every delivery is considered late. We’ve had the new app for not even a week yet and I’ve already had multiple complaints from customers saying how trash it is. My tips have greatly been affected, and this alone makes me want to find another job. I am very disappointed.

  • Needs more

    It only pulls up directions on your phones default maps app. Personally I don’t like Apple Maps, so I wish I had the option to chose which app I would like to use.
    The map does not turn on navigation. So it will tell you the directions in text, but it won’t follow you in real time and track your GPS to tell you where to turn, so now I need to enter the address myself into the navigation app.
    Does not list the items that you are delivering. Does not include the customers name.
    No where to add important delivery instructions only for the drivers, like gate codes or where entrances are located.
    No options for a tip line on my phone for credit cards.
    But insiders get a new fancy electronic tip line now and all money goes to them and not divided w the drivers.
    We have to keep track of paper receipts and carry and a clipboard and pen with us.
    This app is useless. I don’t even need it for the job anymore bc the paper receipt has more info on it, but it’s location services is tracking me even when I’m off work and at home.
    I don’t like the app at all. Please fix this.

  • Ridiculous and not user friendly

    It’s impossible to use the gps connected to this app, it is super delayed and you have to manually press on the directions so it’ll tell you where to go. I agree with all of the reviews I’ve seen here, this new system is ridiculous. No one has even responded to the negative reviews, or is looking to fix it. It won’t count my tips so I can see how much I’ve made through the day, and it makes me do a paper instead of electronic signature. This has become ludicrous. Get your stuff together, you are losing employees and are making customers angry because of this app. Work on technology development.

  • Horrible, completely useless

    I used to love my job but since this new system started it’s been a nightmare. 90% of the time it’s just stuck loading. I can’t message my customers to let them know I’m coming anymore, I can’t see what their order is on the app, the map that comes with the app is impossible to use. At apartment complexes you can’t click “delivered” because the map is picking some random place in the complex as the delivery area. You can’t even see on the app if they paid or if you need to collect cash. I have had 4 people get angry with me when I deliver their food because they hate the new app and find it almost impossible to use. I wish they would switch it back, but I know they won’t. Time to get a new job.
