One thing that can be better is an increase in database size. Quite a bit of foods I’ve tried searching were not in the system.

Disappointing so far
My other question is: what if I’m having a different portion size - I don’t eat everything in 100 gram portions - I haven’t seen yet how to adjust the portion size. It’s possible I’m missing that somewhere.
A barcode scanner in this app would be amazing & solve most of these issues. I’m actually surprised it does not have one considering the price for the “Premium” app. I wish I had known these things before I purchased.

Our product database will be significantly expanded with the next update. However, all basic products are already available in the database. If you couldn’t find a specific product, feel free to email us. We’ll check everything, and if the product is indeed missing from the database, we’ll add it. After writing this review I did hear back from them on this issue and I appreciate the response. I think this app is still adding information which will be helpful to me moving forward.

As for the section where you can manually enter the glycemic index of a product, it is often a useful feature if you haven’t found the product in our database but have located its glycemic index from another source and would like to save it.

If you still can't find it, there may be a technical issue, or the product might not actually be in the database.
