Okay, but disappointed
I really wanted to like this app. Unfortunately, there are so many cons at this point it outweighs the pros and I’ve already found a new app
That does what I want and more for free as well!
Pros:
-It’s an easy platform and is very organized/is aesthetically pleasing to use. For example, I like that I can upload patterns to different categories and then create patterns based on my uploads.
- I also like the features such as writing/making notes, highlighting, and the row counters.
-free - there was a subscription option but nothing shows up🤷🏼♀️ Luckily, there are no ads that get in the way or interrupt my projects
Cons:
-row counters are defective- they constantly revert back the previous number which can ruin a project easily / doesn’t help keep track of the rows accurately
-app doesn’t stay open. If I don’t use the features, it will lock my screen which then I have to unlock. Not the biggest issue, but it’s annoying because I’m not fast enough to use the app before it locks, but I do knit fast enough to where I have to constantly unlock it after each row
- app stopped working on IPad- it still works on my phone but easier to use in my IPad and now it no longer works (updates are installed too). Really there’s no point to have it on my IPad anymore
-not all patterns can be uploaded- I ran into this once where a project I wanted to start couldn’t be uploaded due to it’s size. I was later able to upload the same pattern to two different apps😒
- there lacks a typing feature- not super important because I can still write with the marker/pencil feature, but the option to type would be awesome

Just can’t log on!
I’d love to review it and say it’s great but I just cannot log on. It keeps saying that I’ve already got an account and to do the forgot password thing. I’ve received no email so still can’t log on. Quite silly really.

Won’t let me log in? I try and it says internet connection is down or an unknown error has occurred. Very sad it doesn’t work

Finally, there’s an app not only for knitters not only for crocheters, but for people who aluminate as well I started using this when they were just a website and was so excited to see the app and it still holds all the great qualities of the website that I absolutely adore with new features coming out every few months I cannot wait to see. The app won’t even open
I downloaded the app because Instagram knows I like yarn but I just get a blank screen. Not sure how useful that’s supposed to be…..
Not very developed yet.
I know the title uses the word “knit” in it, but the advertisements and the description page say that it’s for people who crochet as well. That’s false. There’s not anything for crochet. I wish they wouldn’t advertise that there is. Also I couldn’t use any part of the app without having to watch an ad first. Very very frustrating and annoying. I deleted this app very quickly.

A great app!
It's really nice to have a standalone app for adding my knitting projects seeing as Ravelry STILL don't have an official one. This has found a gap in the market and does it pretty damn well. It's also very nicely designed and you can tell it's been created by a fellow knitter (hello row counter that I can add to my pattern page!)
Really interested to see this app evolve over time and very grateful that there is a full-featured free option. If the developer ever decides to go down the paid route, *please please please* offer a one-time only payment (not subscription based). I would happily support this app :)

What about crochet?
I’m trying to add Needle stock, but there is not option for crochet hooks.My projects are most crochet, and in the description it said that also is to keep track of crochet projects, but I don’t see it. Please add that section, then this App will be perfection! ☀️
has promise, needs work
i love how this app looks, and the “skeins used” counter was particularly attractive to me because i’m trying to destash. but from trying to enter my first project into it i’m hitting hurdles.
i can’t complete entering new yarns and patterns quickly because it doesn’t let you continue unless all parts of the form are filled out. what if i don’t have all of the information! or i just can’t be bothered getting all the details down right now, esp because ravelry fills them in automatically. you can’t even link the pattern you’re using, you have to upload a PDF or images. this may be an issue with paid patterns - are they gonna be made public??
please fix these features and i’d love to use your app. maybe even link with ravelry so i don’t have to manually upload everything to your app! that would be a dream come true!

Great idea, a lot of work still needed
For right now, I don’t think any of the ads for this should mention crocheting. There isn’t an option in stock for hooks. Only yarn and needles. No crochet tutorials, and hardly any patterns or resources for it. In the community section, everything is knits, no mention of crochet - be it stuffed animals, graphghans, blankets, tops, etc. Also, there are so many ads placed in the ap that it feels more like a blog post I’d close out of immediately after opening. I don’t have a problem with a knitting only app, but don’t advertise that it’s for crocheting then. I hope this is worked on and improved because I love the idea of it! I’d love nothing more than to update this to a 5 star review in the future!
